What a fun and creative journal! You had so many creative ideas. I really love the screw top closure!!! You'll think I'm copying you, but I've been collecting "junk" and am planning on doing a junk junk journal soon! I really enjoyed seeing yours.

Only a junk journalers would think of this. It really reminds us how beautiful product packaging is!!! We really don't HAVE to buy supplies if we don't want to!!! Lol. You are very clever. And the soda bottle top closure is genius!!! The sounds & texture from the packaging is also very cool. Really shows ANYONE can make a junk journal if you just have glue or tape!! And a few old magazines would go far to decorate our journals.
It's easy for me to save packaging, cuz its so beautiful. I think its most fun to turn trash to treasure!! And you sure did that here.
I have saved some packaging I think is cool, but didn't really know WHAT to do with it.
Writing with ball point pen or sharpie on plastic is great. I didn't think of that, so I put gesso on white plastic tags.
My kids think I'm crazy, cuz when I'm at their house,...
I go thru the trash & recycling and ask "Can I have this?"

@@LaceCoveredSkies There are some trash pieces I always keep like certain envelopes and clothing tags, little hangers, etc to use bothin journals and in assemblage pieces but my horizons are now expanded. lol

As you showed the egg carton I thought-I wonder how much those cost? Maybe you could write the price you paid on each scrap just for future reference-lol!

This is fantastic - love it! The sounds and textures are fabulous! Question: If you have kept this, how often do you open it and flip through it? I’m on the fence about making one myself, but I have very limited space and don’t know if I would revisit it often enough to justify the space to house it. Thanks for sharing!
