It's worth noting Sik has two trains and they occasionally will run both. They only ran one on my visit and that seems common in most trip reports I have seen.
10:14 The water dummies fell out because they used OTSR dummies instead of lap bar dummies, not because they didn't secure them properly. Anyway, great video!
Suprised you went to Flamingo land as a lot of people don't bother with it when visiting. Really glad you did go though even though its not the best I think its got good rides for being a regional park.
I know most enthusiasts just hit the London parks, Alton, and Blackpool. But I had a car, so I wanted to hit some of the sizeable parks that aren't easily accessible via public transit (Oakwood, Flamingo Land, Fantasy Island).
i'm still sad as a brazilian that this ride left hopi hari, hoping we get another high quality coaster to make up for it soon! but still these 10i models look like so much fun! id love to ride sik or any of the newer 10is definitely a bucket list model for me
It's unfortunate that Hopi Hari never managed to build this coaster, it would be a game changer in South America. But it's good that it has a new home and its actually open, this is one in the bucket list, it looks intense
I think there is a modified version of this coaster in China. From what I’ve heard, it’s at an amusement park called “Great Xingdong Tourist World” and the coaster is called “Eleven Ring Roller Coaster” or “Eleventh Roller Coaster” according to the roller coaster database RCDB. Instead of just one vertical loop, it has 2 back to back vertical loops for a total of 11 inversions.
Before I rode Hyperia, this was my favourite drop in the UK. It is impossible to know how good that drop actually is until it is tried. It is surprisingly forceful.
I am really surprised no north american park bought one of these models to snipe the NA inversion record. I wonder what will become of the Wonderland park one.
I went to this park when there was 150 people there, managed to ride sik nearly 20 times, 15 of which where completely on my own. Such a weird experience to get something do expensive to yourself.
Also, you should note: 1) it has two trains, I have seen two in operation before. 2) Having visited during summer peak days, the longest I’ve seen this coasters queue is just outside the doors to enter the station.
@@CanobieCoaster aha, no it doesn’t. It does get a pretty long queue down to the bottom of the ramp (only long due to operations) but that is only around 45 minutes. That was with two trains on a busy summer day with Velocity and some other big rides closed.
I did this with a friend and i just checked my notes, we did ut about 13 times although we kinda lost track . Think it was running slow because the airtime hill didnt airtime. It was rattly for us but someone at the park said it was a one off. I loved the lap bars until i was unable to keep myself steady on the rolls. Would not gave been an issue if we didn't keep reriding it
I enjoy Sik a lot, I enjoy Kumali a slight bit more but as comment is on a review of Sik I will talk about that: I don’t find the coaster rough at all but I could hear the train rattling when I rode it, and I don’t think the theming they did do is bad like people make it out to be
it kinda feels like the UK is the first drop capital of the world (hyperia, big one, oblivion) would you argue it’s the country with the best first drop collections

Ah ok, thanks!
@@CanobieCoaster No problem!

I wonder why this coaster model never got to America
this very coaster was going to the continent of america but alas 😢
Not sure, the layout is great.
Be perfect for valley fair

At least that new chocolate park looks promising for Brazil.
@ oh 1000% they just begun installing foundations for the ghostrider! im so thrilled this is real hahaha
Will you review the slc
Yes

I'm just glad the ride was saved.

I saw that ride. I wonder how smooth it is.

I would still have Big One's drop way ahead of this one. Same with Megafobia's. But this drop is good.
@CanobieCoaster the big ones drop is incredible and almost better than hyperias in my opinion
Would love some of these to come to the states
I would like to see one too.

Really? I've seen this queue stretch to where the single rider queue starts.
@CoasterPlanet I've never seen it that long.
Thanks, I'll update that part. Didn't realize it got a 2nd train.
While on the topic of waits at this park, does Mumbo Jumbo ever get a 2 hour wait? I saw markers in the queue saying 2 hours from this point.

You note the speed hill after the loop offers no forces. Did you feel the same about the one on Colossus, as i always get an ok bit of air ?
I haven't gotten air on Colossus either.

The airtime hill doesn't airtime any time.

I like the atmosphere and the mist looks cool when it works.

They have some great drops, but it's hard to beat the US due to the quantity.
@ but excluding the two countries with freakishly large numbers (america and china) would you say the uk is consistently the best at drops
“Sik is a sick roller coaster” - canobie coaster 2025
Truth
sickkkkk
Yes
I don't find the lap bars comfortable at all, Kumali is the best ride in the park IMO
I'm glad I find it comfortable.
