I also tried to listen other Kpop, I like some songs and I respect their work, but none give me what BTS give me - everything I want and more! So yes, BTS is the best.

I agree. Their consistency is the key. Their authenticity is often acknowledged, but who are we to say that other artists aren't authentic? But their consistency is why we trust BTS above all else. 💜

I don't know, Just my feeling that only BTS has the best stage presence. More natural in my eyes 😊

There's lots of claims saying Starykids, Big Bang, Exo, etc. are the best, but all of those are anecdotal & testimonal facts, but base on textual & statistical facts, it's BTS.

Exactly! Their consistency is really what sets them apart from the rest. They are very consistent in creating music based on their own experiences, how they feel, or any situations that a lot of people can relate to. They don't make music for the sake of making music. They are very consistent in providing excellent performances every time, giving their all even on free concerts. These guys are just allergic to mediocre performances, they would give you the show you paid for and even more. Lastly, they are very consistent in showing their gratefulness and love for ARMY through their music and constant communication. Before leaving for the Military, all of them spent their days recording content for ARMY instead of resting. And now during their free time in the Military, they still give little updates when they could've just spent it resting. BTS's genuineness really resonates in everything they do that's why they are tremendously loved.

Absolutely! Consistency is the key. BTS were always consistent at being original. BTS were and are always consistent at being BTS.
That's why no one comes close. They plan and work YEARS AHEAD of everyone else. Just think about the "hiatus" due to military enlistment. We got LOADED with content. Instead of one group BTS, we got 7 soloists and their content, we got variety shows, and group songs, we got members featuring in other members' songs, we got performances one after another, we got interviews, different shows, other activities and participation. We can never catch a break. NOBODY has ever done something like this during their enlistment period.
This can be seen since Jin came back- he came back, did a live 'in uniform', spent time with members, recorded song/s, hugged 1000 ARMYs because he wanted to, performed a live showcase, went to an island for a show, probably went for another show shoot, and is now going to be the torchbearer at the Paris Olympics. All the while updating ARMYs on insta and Weverse.

Hey Yami, do you remember when you used to call BTS steroids even though it's logical to think that way because there's absolutely no way that they became so big internationally in a short amount of time without any connections & support from the industry but apparently their fans claim that they actually came from a near bankrupt company and with no media exposure?
But you absolutely changed your mind after watching the Rise of Bangtan series, with clips and evidence from when they were young & barely surviving financially, they just blog behind the scenes because they couldn't get in variety shows or being invited to television.
But I'm so glad in your journey to discovering them, your reactions stood out a lot to me because you used to be skeptical of BTS. But look at you now hahhahaha what a journey. Glad to hear that at least reacting to them made you spiritually healthy. Couldn't wait for more videos .

I also agree. While there are very good kpop groups that do excellent music and contents, BTS are unique. The only group that has quite a lot in common with BTS is SHINee. They are a SM group debuted in 2008 as an experimental r&b group. Experimental is the key word. They have been together for almost 16 years and still set new trends in kpop. Highly respected, with a strong fanbase, they were the first setting new trends in kpop related to fashion, genres, introducing the dance practice videos, always singing live (still today) while performing like crazy during incredibile concerts of 3 - 3,5 hours. They were already seniors when BTS debuted and they were indicated as an example to BTS by their management (there is an episode of Suga's Suchwita starring Taemin - the maknae of SHINee, same age of Suga, best friends with Jimin - where Suga talks about this).
    5 visuals, 5 dancers, 5 vocalists.
There are a few nice guides in RUclips explaining who are SHINee. For sure between them there is a lot of respect and an excellent relationship since the beginning.

I've been watching every kpop music video that pops up in my feed since i became army in 2019, but not one made want to explore their discography🤷 i have only 10 non bts kpop songs in my playlist after 5 years. 90% of spngs i don't even want to listen twice, but still do just not to be biased, cause maybe it will be better on second listen...it bever is

I tried listening to others too but they are not about music and art at all and it shows. Maybe 1 or 2 people in the group but overall it's just noise and fanservice. I do listen to some songs here and there but that's all (mostly txt because their songs are really unique compared to other kpop groups, they try out a lot of things too)

Being a fan of BTS, I'm aware what groups are debuting every year. And the ones who receive the most love and attention are groups that stand out due to concept or sound. NewJeans is hella different and I agree with people who say they were a breath of fresh air when they debuted. Enhypen also doing a vampire concept was so out there. TXT fairytale magic, emo, rock theme is very unique. But then we have Dreamcatcher which is a girl group with a rock sound and no one seems to like that? Then again... they are very "safe" with their rock

I am watching this video for the first time with you. I agree with everything they and you said. I listened to and watched other groups I even like some of their works but no other group made me love all of their works except for BTS, and I always find myself loving them more because of this exact reason. I just believe that these seven legends were born to be the best at what they do and I respect them enormously for their continuous hard work.
On another note, a lot of documentaries got released since you were absent, but most of them are on platforms like Disney+ or Weverse do you think you ll be able to watch them and maybe react to them in Twitch since I dnt think it's doable on RUclips? cause I think you will really enjoy them 💜💜💜

It sure is but Kpop Industry has always been about copying at a surface level. It's never been about authentic arts but about pretty dolls who are seen as 'Idols' rather than artists.

13:32 it's not even that being good naturally is better than work, example Jhope: he couldn't rap, when he joined company, but he had interest in a genre and becoming rapper and he learned from Suga and RM and developed his unique style, cause rap is smth he is passionate about and Jimin, company first tried to make him rap as trainee but he was not interested and had little skill in it that even Suga said to company: let Jimin sing, don't make him rap". You can develop skill but if you have passion for that you can achive higher results and it will be natural, oposed to the rappers whocwere told to rap but they don't have any interest for the hipchop as genre, that's why when i terviews ask them about hip hop they say: hip hop is just vibes...they don't care about hip hop or rap, that's why they sound awkward and like a parody and that's why I don't like most kpop groups cause they sound as mockery

    • @ikmalhaikal2230
      @ikmalhaikal2230 4 месяца назад +3

This is true. Rappers in kpop group know how to rap (some of them atleast). But they are not interested in the genre specifically and never tried to rap about their life. Just rap about the lyrics the labels tell them to. Jhope is different because he's already involved in hiphop through dance and expanded his skills into rapping while getting more interested in hiphop. He rap about his story and personal life. They always genuinely getting into something with a passion and most listeners can see that.

One thing I disagree with what you said was that BTS took things kpop was doing and made it better in many ways that's true however they also did things that only they did and now other's in Kpop are doing for example. They were blocked from using certain platforms that Kpop used eg didn't get onto Kpop Show's except for odd times didn't get onto kpop game show's and when they did they were insulted and extremely badly treated so they started their own which is now followed by other groups. They didn't have a TV station to do those on so they used Social media eg RUclips first Kpop group to do that. They went live with fans first Kpop group to do that. First Kpop group with their own personal Twitter accounts in fact Kpop Idol's were not allowed by their companies to have private Twitter accounts because their companies feared they'd post something the company didn't want them to post say with going live with their fan it was a huge NO NO. Idol's were supposed to appear untouchable, and not really human but dolls.
BTS changed all that because they were the first to do it and now Kpop follows.
