Mine just showed up. I got it 60% off 🎉🎉. Now...I have no idea what to do with it. This video was very helpful. I didn't know about the kill switch or the lid holding feature. I had no idea Sous Vide took so long. I fear everything is going to burn on that stainless steal pot. I bought it to increase my cooking options while replacing my worn out crock pot and my rice steamer.
I wonder how this compares with the InstaPot, which I love. I love kitchen gadgets and this would totally be right up my alley if I didn’t have my InstaPot. 😆
We haven't had the privilege of a side by side comparison. I would have a hard time buying an updated model if what I had already did 90 percent of the same things.
@sharon, does your IP come with a consultant? That's what I find amazing is there's someone there to guide, help and answer questions when you purchase from PC.
Excellent presentation! I am a consultant in Rapid City SD and have 5 (yes, FIVE!) pressure/multi-cookers in my kitchen arsenal. A few days ago, I was scalded with condensation running out of the lid through the pressure relief valve and over my hand holding the lid. How do you place the lid in the lid rest without holding the lid in an awkward position?
That actually happened to me (Jared) as well. But it hasn't happened to Anna. There are two sides to the lid in. The best we can tell is that she put it in the other side. I def pointed it out to her when I got burned though.
@@KoubaKitchen Would you please specify which side to put the lid in...left or right...I don't follow whatsoever what you're saying in this thread above... Thanks much...!
@@KoubaKitchen Got it! Simple enough...thanks much :) I ordered the Deluxe Cooker today...along with ceramic pot and top & a few other items...The Digital Slow Cooker set with the Rock something or other pot & lid.. arrived today. Excited..
The only thing I don't like about it is the slow cooker setting. I think they should've left this setting off of this product. Tried it twice and the even on high I could literally touch the heating element and not get burned. I tried to do slow cooker meatballs before company came over and right before they arrived I lifted the lid and the bottom ones were luke warm at best while the top was ice cold. Thank goodness for the RockCrock dutch oven. I popped them in there and heated them up on the stovetop. I will not ever be using the slow cooker setting on Multicooker. Order the new for 2023 crockpot base for Rockcrock as soon as it becomes available.
That's so weird.. my mom uses it for slow cooking very frequently and LOVES it. I'd consider calling HO as there might be something not working properly with yours... I'd hate for you to not love a product because of some issue that could be resolved.
Yes, I plan to call on Monday. I also want to find out if there is a way to turn off the beeping every 5 minutes. It’s so annoying. It worked fine when I did sous vid egg bites.
Oh no :(. We really like ours, Anna has been using it a couple times a week. Make sure you reach out to your consultant if it isn't working correctly. There are also some good 101 videos out there on the RUclips.
The pressure cooker on this is AMAZING!! Took frozen chicken breast out of the freezer and 20 minutes later we had pulled chicken!!
YES!!!
I made BBQ country style ribs tonight and they were perfect
That sounds amazing. We just used the kc BBQ season last night and it was a happy time

My suggestion would be expirment lots. Watch lots of videos. We're usuing ours tonight for stew :)
Thanks for this tutorial it is really helpful! I just bought one and I love it already!
Yay. We just used our this week for pulled pork. :)
Thank you for the showing the difference of both Quick Cookers. I’m debating rather I should buy the new one.
They are both good. Mostly i would ask if you plan on using sous vide.
Thankyou
You're welcome

Anyone else get water in the lid? I always have water coming out of those holes on the lid. Why are there holes?
Like on the inside? I havent noticed excess water on the lid. There is some jjst due to steam, but nothing pouring out.
How do I close the steam valve?
The valve should close automatically once the pressure is released.

I am going to throw this piece of crap out the window. Can’t get it to do anything I need

Biggest POS I have ever used.
I am sorry you had a bad experience. Do you mind sharing your misgivings, I think our audeince would appreciate your perspective.
