I enjoyed trying your eTrikeBike! It takes a moment to learn to ride, especially if you're used to two-wheeled bikes. 🚲💨 Very practical and fun! Awesome video sharing all your insights! #eTrikeBike #FunRide #CyclingLife
Nice video. Do you happen to know if the front forks are steel? I have a welder where I could weld on a tab on for the torque arm. Thanks, just looking into this project
is there a way to make it two wheel drive? basically i do not think schwinn will handle my size i'm 6'4 and 280 lbs, so i think i need to modify it a lot to move me around i think the trike has a 350lb weight limit, with me, plus the bike, plus the motor and battery, prolly gonna be right there at 350 lbs, which means a lot of bent axles , thats always what happened on my mountain bikes, hit a hole and thats that, always bent axle. because i'm to fat to ride bikes. (i should say cheaper bikes, sure they got them to fit me and pull me around but they are like 2,000 dollars, and i got a free meridian trike, just ...dunno where to start i guess)
They change over time. If you are in North America then you can order one from Amazon. Just search for e-bike conversion kit and begin to study the various options.
Absolutely incredible content video with huge technical data for "Do It Your Selfors"!
I agree with you about the brakes, but I think Ferdinand Porsche said it best: "No thing should be able to go faster than it can stop"

I've been thinking of upgrading my bicycles to electric and I've seen trikes also. I want to go camping with a trailer. Thanks for the info.❤
@@Joseph-b2m8k and don't forget that you can also build yourself a camper for your e-bike.
Great suggestions and info!
Do you have a link for the conversion kit since there’s so many options on Amazon? Also live in Oahu so needs to ship here. Mahalo!!

@@z289t6 they're lightweight steel. The forks are very weak and could definitely be upgraded for regular use with high-powered motors.
Thank you! With a welder anything is possible!
I ebike daily. Nothing better.
