Never heard Alfred Newman on steroids before. Interesting. The "Fox Fanfare" was actually written in 1933 for Darryl Zanuck's new 20th Century Pictures; the merger with bankrupt Fox Film came two years later. TCF always noted it's founding was in 1935, but it can trace itself to the start of the William Fox Studio in 1914. The first 20th Century pictures were distributed by United Artists; Fox had all those theatres to play movies in, and that was a major part of the deal.

Once Bob Iger leaves Disney, I think the company could/should, under the c-CEO management of Alan Bergman and Dana Walden, sell off 20th Century Studios and have Lachlan Murdoch acquire it, now that he runs both News Corp. and Fox Corp. ever since Rupert Murdoch, his dad, retired.
