Jetson is a really cool toy and rich people already got their hands on it.
But i would take an ultralight plane, an autogyro, or even a powered paraglider that costs a 10th of Jetson's price and is probably much more fun to fly (and it stays in the sky longer) any day.

It’s like when flat screen TVs first came they cost $15,000 dollars for a 32”! Now you can pick one up for $299 72” on sale.

The Jetson One is starting as a personal entertainment vehicle, and could evolve into an upscaled industrial & government aviation tool. It is very possible this EVTOL could be used as a National Dept of Interior aviation tool for the maintenance of natural resources (i.e. forest, aquatic & ecological wildlife areas). Upscaled it would fly at a higher altitude and carry a heavier load. It may even be used for fire suppression & control.

The possibilities are endless for the future. But the Jetson One is ahead of it's time, and not in a good way for the company. The Skyfly Axe, Air eVTOL, Kitty Hawk Heaviside & Blackfly are all more realistic for NOW. And it's all because they all in some way transition from VTOL to fixed wing which requires less energy in flight. Battery capacity right now are not sufficient now to carry REAL load without making use of more traditional technology like a fixed wing to generate some lift.

it will never compete with a gas powered vehicle unless they can make batteries weight a whole lot less and use more common materials to make and that does not seem to be anytime in the near future. electric vehicles are a scam... where do you think the electricity comes from? hell even michael moore had to admit this when he backed a documentary on electric vehicles and found out they are worse for the environment than fossil fuel combustion vehicles. so do some research instead of just believing the lying politicians and mainstream media. hell the batteries alone are far worse on the environment (strip mining and rare minerals) and are a bigger explosive hazard than fuels.

this is what i have been saying in the comments of all the youtube vids i see praising this goofy vehicle for months... so glad to see someone actually make a video on this ridiculous vehicle that is advertised as a commuter "for your average person" when it is really just a stupid rich man's toy of no use for commuting or any true use at all. you got me to subscribe because of your logical take on the silly overpriced toy.

Building and marketing the Jetson One as an ultralight is a double-edged sword. Yes, it means it can be flown without a license in the USA, but ultralights aren't allowed to fly over congested areas in the USA.
So unless the FAA changes regulations for these craft, it can't legally be used to commute in cities or towns.

@@LetsGoAviate yes i know and we all know the FAA is not going to change that and no one wants to ask for ultralight changes either because then they will make some rules we do not want them to change like requiring flight lessons. they said this when they got them to make the changes to light sport planes that will drop in late 2023 and brought up ultralights and the FAA said you do not want to mess with that or we will end up doing things that your not gonna like, so either keep it the way it is or it will get messy. i am just glad they are going to raise the weight limit on light sport craft and planes like the cessna 150 series will be lsa!

Well, the solution is obvious... illegally fly it.
Go on any interstate anywhere around the world, and people are breaking the law driving faster than the speed limit.
Find any city street, and people are illegally jaywalk crossing it.
How does the state respond? Everybody is breaking the law and it is obvious, we can't have that, that makes us look weak and that are rules are completely ignored. Lets raise the speed limit to so it looks like all these law breakers are actually... complying. That's how it was in the United States. It's an illusion of compliance.
