I've got a white ink tattoo on my blackwork sleeve to a similar effect. My tattoo artist was pessimistic that the white ink would hold for very long - and that it would fade quickly to yellow or slate grey. It's been about 3 years now - and it's still bright, white and distinguishable. I think it's a 50/50 split on quality of ink and how your skin handles it. Looks great though, would love to see follow ups to this in the future
@@tripp8833 ever have a blister .. when its new it may look new and white pop it and it drys up now it looks more yellowish.. they ink may be perfectly white but as you age your skin dont look so new .. its mainly just your skin .. the ink fades too though .. just look at an old car or old paper.. ever see an old person with nice new lookin skin .. lots of different factors
I had covered my silly teenage tattoo with the solid Black blob years ago. Then of course i got bored To see that stupid Black blob on my leg and started thinking about laser removal. Later i met a guy who had been In fight and he were cut over his tattoo with a knife and where the cut was, all the ink had gone and it was just a skin color. (luckily very shallow slash). Then i got an idea that maybe i could carefully cut some simple design over the blob with a razorblade and it worked really well. Never even thought i could put White over the solid Black. Only thing i was afraid of was cutting too deep.
I wanted black with white but tattoo artists told me the white will Fade etc but it is more of a detailed white lion I want on the black with white fading too so not sure
Was that all black and healed .. then white ink over the heald black ink .. or was it done at the same or close to same time .. like did the white area never have black .. idk how to word that shit .. u know what im sayin 😁 i hope 🤞
I have my left arm blacked out... Done twice... Hopefully will be clean enough to do white.... Don't want that pain again xD how many times did you do the white?

All the black was healed and then I just put white on top. None of it was negative space.
Hey bro! How many sessions did you have to do to get all the black sleeve? I'm already going for the third and last
Yo. I think it was about 3 or 4 sessions for a sleeve ....so like 15 hours at least
