This place is FANTASTIC !!! I was in San Francisco because my brother who lived there has stage 4 lung cancer. I first visited in February 2020 with sister and brother-in-law. The place was packed on a Sunday night, but we were served fast. I had pad kraprow with shrimp - delicious !!! We also had chicken satay and potstickers for appetizers. Again... perfect !!! I came back to San Francisco in May 2020 after my brother died. My brother and I just showed up to order take out. It only took 10 minutes for our order. Again for me chicken satay and pad kraprow with shrimp. I should mention they forgot the rice but.... they gave me 9 large shrimp which made me forget the rice. My brother had the spicy chicken wings which were out of this world good and some tomkah soup with chicken - amazingly good. I may never go back to San Francisco - but thank you Marnee Restaurant !!! You were a beacon of good during a very painful time.
This place will blow your favorite so-called "Thai" restaurant out the water. They really do keep it real and refuse to serve that muted version of Thai cuisine that 99% of "Thai" restaurants in America do. The Angel Wings are perfectly done and packed with flavor. The Miang Kum is also served with dried coconut flakes, lime, onion, and awesome sauce. You build your own rolls. Another thing you MUST try is the Chan Pad Poo, which is noodles with crab meat and chilies. So simple yet so magical.
