Good review. I've got the Marin DSX1 - did a few little things on that - it's Geo is very much XC. I ride it on roads mainly..but do single track (I'll do a video on it soon). I've racked up 2800km on it this far.. GREAT BIKE!
I'm holding out on getting a gravel bike as funds won't allow....I was looking at the Poseidon Ambition X... would be very curious how that bike would fare... it is a bit less costly.
Everything I've seen of Poseidon is that they are generally good bikes for the money but the stock wheels are boat anchors and the brakes should be illegal to sell
really nice presentation of the bike, I have been interested in it since it was shown last year. unfortunately I can't buy it in the country where I come from, and therefore can't try it on before I'm 183 cm tall, what size do you think I should buy. i like a relaxed riding style, will a size medium fit?
How can they justify this costing more than the Team Marin 1 mtb which has a 12 speed Shimano groupset , hydraulic disc brakes and a suspension fork ? Road and Gravel bikes are way overpriced !!
Buy a X10 From Jenson USA: jenson.sjv.io/q4EWxq
That intro was great! I love the look of this bike. I've been quite gravel curious since I demoed one at Bike Fest.
I have done a few bigger rides and absolutely love it.
I own the 2022 gestalt x11 gravel bike and really like the idea of a gravel bike that's coming from MTB. Marin makes perfect jobs!

Seriously great intro!
Thanks bud
Dropper, upgrade cranks, maybe TRP Spyre brakes.

I am also interested in the Poseidon line up.

@@cjohnson3836 😅🤣😂
Boat anchors! Maybe the wheels ARE the brakes? Haha! Or resistance training for race day??
How tall are you? I'm just under 6'2" and can't decide on a Large or XL.
I am 5’11”
good

I am 5’11” or 152cm and I ride a large. I am thinking a medium would be too small.
For a DSX 2, any upgrade cranks recommendations?
This Deore would be a perfect crankset for that bike. amzn.to/47es7St
@@RunBikeMike Thanks for the help. I need a 40t Chainring for that. Great videos!
Can those brakes be upgraded?
A few different ways to upgrade. 1st a new brifters like GRX Or new cable pulled hydraulic calipers.
Awesome, thanks I will look into them,.
That's a cool bike and all, but 1500 for entry level?
I would call it more mid level in the Gestalt series. The X is their more rowdy version in the Gestalt line. Solid bike for the price.
The Nicasio would be the entry level Marin gravel bike.

Integrated hydraulic brake shifter moment. They keep pretending it can't be modular at all for more $$$
