Truly awesome, engaging, and well thought out content! The parallels you draw from moto to RC and vice versa made this video impossible to stop watching. In particular, your point about focusing on the fundamentals of riding the bike and running the car smooth instead of getting lost in the setup sauce...any pro could jump on a clapped-out bike or poorly setup car and lay down faster laps than the average Joe on a perfect setup. Sometimes it really is the Indian that matters not the arrow. (can we still use that analogy?) Don't get me wrong, I love the latest and greatest gear just as much as the next guy but we can all do a better job of slowing down in practice and focusing on the quality of the laps. Thank you for taking the time to craft such high-quality rad content!

I was just thinking about it I didn't mean to sound like tlr cars suck they do not. It all comes down to your preference of vehicle and just taking your time learning the basics I really look up to you put on a good show and very good information. And as far as 1/10 scale off-road you are really good. Where I suck kind of a 10th scale off-road on carpet that's all that's close to me. But I shine when it comes to 1/8 scale off road. Don't get discouraged and I love the fact that you put all your shortcomings on video. And how you progress It's very inspirational

May have nothing to do with it but as a stock racer you have spent so much time being as quick and smooth as you can with a finite amount of power, now you have more power than you can use a changing track surface to adjust to and a longer time to concentrate for. If you bump up to mod it might help

A key to tire gluing is having the best CA glue...kinda obvious, but people think they need specific "tire glue" when in all reality it's just CA glue. The best CA glue on the market is Bob Smith Industries. You won't find a better glue and you won't have tire become deglued on you.

I feel ya on bad luck getting into a class. My first race back after 20 year absence I actually placed first. Go back next week for my second race and before the first heat I had a heart attack. And at a track you know well..SS hobbies in Tampa. Not listening to my wife I stayed and finished..well kinda.. place last in all heats and didn't make the A main. Went to the ER right after and had another heart attack. Then went downhill from there. Had open heart surgery that lead to me losing my left leg. Now I can't make it up driver stands being in a wheelchair. Only chance to race now is on-road since I can see from ground level. But with being on disability I can't afford that class if I want to be competitive. Even though I can't race at most tracks I'm still in the middle of a 1/8 scale buggy build. This is a way too addictive hobby.
