@@Hebrews-in-Ethiopia I disagree with you coz there are very few Hebrews left in Ethiopia as majority have returned to Israel. But going back in history long before the arrival of Christianity, Ethiopians, Eritreans and Yemenis use to follow Judaism due the the historical link of Queen of Sheba and King Solomon. Queen Sheba ruled much of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Southern Arabia (primarily Yemen). To this day you will find old ruins of Hebrew temples dating from 800-1000BC in Northern Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen. Also there had been large number of Jewish communities right up until the Israeli government decided to take them back to Israel. I grew up in Asmara (Eritrea) and even there there are many abandoned Jewish temples coz most of them have returned to Israel. Having said that Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Christianity involves many rituals and practices that are common to Judaism to this day. This is a proof how widespread Judaism and influence on our religion.

They (Jews=Ahmara) came to Ethiopia "Via" Egypt after the state of Israel was destroyed in 70 A.D. Most all of the Ahmara converted to Christianity after Queen Yodit died. The ones that did not convert were called Falasha by the Ethiopians and retained their Hebrew culture and religion.
King Solomon never had a child with Queen Sheba, she was Witch and we were forbidden as Jews to deal with such woman.

Yes, please do so. It’s our pride & joy. Especially when you understand the extent to which the West aligned itself with Egypt to stop the construction of the dam. There was so much pressure & so many threats of sanctions from the West, but Ethiopia prevailed! And for the record, every dime was raised by Ethiopians - both from inside Ethiopia & outside. No loan, no “gift”, all of it is Ethiopian money. So show it to the world Wodemaya - it’s a symbol of Black Africa prevailing, against so many odds!

I’m proud of Ethiopian airline since childhood & I have flighted throughout my life with Ethiopian. I know no other airlines. There was one motto of Ethiopian airlines when I was kid & this deep rooted in my blood till now that is “dedicated to bringing Africa together” as an Ethiopian I’m proud of this Pan-Africanist airline

Wow! Addis has been transformed. The last time I was there was in year year 2k when the first flyover was under construction. The best and latest international hotel then was the 6 star Sheraton Addis that was receiving final touches during our ATA conference. This is what good leadership brings. Nigeria is playing second fiddle in everything in Africa in spite of her huge natural and human resources except in corruption and crime. What a shame? Why aspire to lead when you can not make life better for the people?

@@samijosi802 I flew it many times and the service was poor, particularly on the African leg of the journeys. It was a scrum to check in. The airport at Addis was congested and inadequately serviced, not even adequate seating or any at all in some parts of the airport, again particularly in the areas servicing the Africa leg of the journey. Clearly your people value the European travellers more than those using the African leg because their transit areas had chairs and staff, and were generally more efficiently serviced. I am not going to support a poor service just because it is provided by an African based company. The first part of the problem is an inability to listen to customers and correct yourselves.
