Was waiting to hear Mike around the 4:30 mark say "Don't know where guys are going to be playing all the time." That's what made his defense so effective in Baltimore... His safeties and EDGE moved all over the place. For those of you still wanting Carroll... Carroll had ZERO idea how to counter it.
Williams, Jones, and Murphy moving all over is gonna give offensive lines nightmares.
Add in Mafe, Nwosu, and Spoon and this D is looking scary. I'm expecting growing pains this year but really optimistic about the future.

Murphy loves LoB DT M.Bennett & is a 12 from age 10. Top DT's are v expensive so to get 1 on a rook deal is GREAT.

Cobra Murphy is big big fan of LoB & fave SB is Hawks win. Fave player is Mike Bennett.

very happy with this pick. he was basically the best player at a position we needed. there were better defensive players, but not at positions we were lacking in. we have good edge players, but out DT was lacking. so I think it's incredible that at 16 we'd get the player we wanted. granted Bill Belichick's draft board did have him going at 16 so maybe it was just fate lol

Very good pick, we got lucky so many offensive players went first, we basically got the top prospect defensive player in the draft at 16 … Sometimes you gotta keep your spot and not trade down for the talent … Definitely a need also, our run D was SO bad the last several years …
