John is fine and happy, as far as I know -- he wrote the most beautiful song "You're my Best Friend" for his wife... if someone wrote that for me, I would be in heaven :)
it's honestly so sad he doesn't talk to the other boys besides business issues, I wish he would still be close to them, but many times tragedies tear people apart

love john.when ever queen was on stage i watched freddie & john. john would bop all over the place. keep time with the music & turn circles on one leg. how did he do that? read some place that early on freddie told john you can write music & i will help you & so john did write some real hits. while brian & roger stepped out on their wifes john married & the pic with his two children speaks volumes about who john was. also have seen a pic of john & one of his children & he is showing the child around the empty stage. john is the lucky one as he is still married to his first wife &has 6 children. do not think john is a basket case as he rolled down his window & singed autographs & if he was so bad off he could have drove off. good luck john & you will always be a member of queen to me.
I agree.. Of the four of them, I think John is the most fun to watch in the videos, as he dances around the stage with his bass! So into the rhythm! He danced like he thought no one was watching... But we are all watching him now! Glad he is now enjoying his family. He made the right decision when he retired and put his family first!
Love all these guys ... Most definitely one of my top 5 bands of all time ... Love watching Deacon play bass ... Bass players have some of the coolest moves & facial expressions ... All four members are great and without each of them there is no Queen ... They all truly loved & and cared about one another ... Such awesome relationships ... Regret never seeing them back in the day (70's) ... One of the few bands i actually regret not seeing
I'm with you there, never having seen them live is one of my life's greatest regrets. But I'm a WAY bigger fan of them now than I was back then. It's a rare day that I don't hear them in some fashion, even if it's just in the background because my fave classic rock station plays a lot of their hits, several times a day

Robbin-Lenz Caudill Deaky admired FMercury adored him judging his looks at him in every video
@@utubejunior-t1v what the hell are you talking about!?
I like his eyes
I love the Tribute video for John Deacon......Deaky.......He was such a great bassist and band member......I miss John and Freddie!!!!!😪 Queen Rocks......❤❤❤❤
Spread your wings is a masterpiece
I agree. And somehow the lyrics seem to apply to John...wonder what inspired him to write it.🤔
@@reelgirl8544, he was quiet, like George Harrison, of The Beatles, he wrote some great songs, too, such as, Here Comes The Sun. It just proves that the quiet 1s write the best songs.
@@michaelasquith9791 Can't argue with that, Michael! I loved George's songs (still do) and "Here Comes the Sun" was always one of my faves. There's one that I never knew was written by him but I have Queen songs running through my head at the moment and I can't remember what it's called. Now I gotta look it up or I won't be able to sleep tonight, haha. Be right back...😊 Okay, so the one I was trying to think of was "If I Needed Someone." Then I remembered two others I adore: "Something" and "Taxman" (which is rather appropriate at this time of year🤣).
@@reelgirl8544 , imagine if John Deacon, and George Harrison ever did a duet, they may have been the "quiet" members of their respected bands, but the noise would have been electrifying. John Deacon wrote I Want To Break Free, You're My Best Friend, and Another One Bites The Dust. If you mean George Harrison, While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
Madein Heaven, every Queen song is a masterpiece, even with Freddie's vocals, Brian's guitar solos, Roger's drums, and John's bass. Now today, in 2019, we miss Freddie's vocals, and John's bass.
Happy 75th Birthday to Queen Legend Freddie Mercury. Hearty wishes from Hyderabad, India 09/05/2021
Thank you for this tribute to John....Freddie and John were the best of friends.......they recognized that they were kindred spirits who could be quite reserved...Freddie shielded John when necessary....there is audio of Freddie saying, “John do you want to do your sound check while the cameras are having a break?”...which demonstrates the relationship that they had....John was heartbroken when Freddie died...I really admire the fact that he said nothing about Queen afterwards...he truly realized that Queen was finished...he was so discreet....unlike other people who plodded on pretending to be Queen...and who had no problem shooting off their mouths about John......Hi John, we hope you’re keeping well....Deaky, the Ace of Bass🌺😊
Wow Josephine, thank you very much for your words, I'm glad you liked the tribute, it's the least the great John Deacon deserves
I love Deaky with every fibre of my being. He’s so underrated. I wish he still talked to the boys but I understand why he doesn’t :)
He does, he's still involved in the business side of Queen
Kayleigh Natasha ouu really? Didn’t know that
Yeah
Yeah Brian and Roger said that he still manages all of Queen’s finances (I’m guessing royalty distribution and all that), but that’s the only reason they talk anymore. Kinda sad but it’s nice they’re still in contact I guess :)
Apparently they only talk about finances, which makes me sad but I'm sure he has his reasons. Anyway, Deaky is a cupcake and that's the tea
I love and miss him so much he is a great bass player good character very modest shy cute and he did not let the game get to his head beautiful person only wished he would come out of hiding and unite with the rest of the guys once in awhile you are extremely missed
Absolutely fantastic. I hope somewhere that Deaky can see these tributes to him and know how many people loved and still love him 💯❤❤xx
Thank you!
I really and truly hope that he knows how much we love and admire him .He was crucial to Queen.💜💙❤xx
And you stood body guard ( Freddie)-- Here's to you John Deacon..We love you !
It seems he gravitated towards Freddie Mercury in friendship and role model (professionally). All in all, such an awesome bassist!
John hope you are well and happy, still miss your beautiful smile.
I've always found John Deacon the best looking of the group Queen. I find it a shame that he hasn't done anything musically since leaving Queen.
The four of them are not just bandmates, they're brothers. But different personality with same chemistry.. Queen foreveeeeeeer!!! 💗💜🧡💛💚💗💜🧡💛
John Deacon, we love you!! No one else can play the bass and do the Deacy spin on one leg wearing shorts during a live performance!!😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
(Smile!_)Good point, there!
John Deacon is very privated & quiet person. I really miss him. "Love his songs, Youre my best friend, friens will be friends, Another one bite the dust etc..
I'm admired Freddie but fall in love with this quiet man!

In full flight! :)
Spring your wings is my favorite song of Queen, 💗Jonh Deacon , great man 👏👏👏👏
You meant Spread Your Wings
john, i loved you when i was a teen, and i stil love you with 42. it's sorry that we can,t see youanymore, but i can understand him . freddies death, was a big loss for him. i know he wrote this sing for his wife, but maybe also for freddie. Mr Deacon i wish you all the best for the future. stay healthy and hope we can see you someday again.😚😚😚😚❤️❤️❤️
John? No one can replace.
Such a beautiful low profile genius, how not love him? 😍👏
John Deacon is a cutie pie
He certainly is
I loved the pic where John's holding a baby. Love that smile !
I think that was his child
And the one at the party, possibly at the table with his kids, playing and going under the table! So glad you included that one!
He totally deserves a tribute!!
John just retired to his wife and six children after Freddy passed away him and his wife where High School sweethearts and they still are all these years you don't see that often anymore God bless their hearts
*Freddie
Классная подборка!!! Дикон молодец, ни одного провокационного слова НИГДЕ о Фредди!!!!!спасибо ДД за такую дружбу!!!
I really hope that John sees these from time to time to know just how much he is loved.
He was always the quiet one. Kind of like the quietest Beatle. George Harrison. Or the quietest one in Guns N Roses like Izzy stradlin. Or Mick Mars in Motley Crue. There's always going to be the quietest one that was more than what you thought they were.
I love “you are my best friend”
John is fine and happy, as far as I know -- he wrote the most beautiful song "You're my Best Friend" for his wife... if someone wrote that for me, I would be in heaven :)
John diserves this tribute, a very kind and very discreet person
Go John!♡♡♡
always loved u
never forgotten u
forever missed u
Queen 4 life
All the best John! We miss you.
it's honestly so sad he doesn't talk to the other boys besides business issues, I wish he would still be close to them, but many times tragedies tear people apart
Well, I looked through every comment - whew! Can I just say that "Tribute" is used to honor someone, they don't have to be no longer with us. He is greatly missed and admired, however, and this video does a great job of showing that. God bless you, John. You actually introduced me to Queen with your bass line in "Another One Bites The Dust".
I love all Queen members...your music makes me happy !!!! I wish I could turn back time….I never got to see a concert....thank God for youtube.
I will always regret I didn't get to his Omaha concert in 1980.
love him! one of the best ever!! totally unrecognized for his ability!
This is an awesome video a beautiful tribute to John Deacon. He is a genius and a awesome musican. I ❤ John Deacon. I wish he would at least play with queen for a little. I know he really took Freddies death hard.
Freddie was close to the boys, but I think that, he protected John the most, as John was the youngest member of the band/family.
What;s the,point.
love john.when ever queen was on stage i watched freddie & john. john would bop all over the place. keep time with the music & turn circles on one leg. how did he do that? read some place that early on freddie told john you can write music & i will help you & so john did write some real hits. while brian & roger stepped out on their wifes john married & the pic with his two children speaks volumes about who john was. also have seen a pic of john & one of his children & he is showing the child around the empty stage. john is the lucky one as he is still married to his first wife &has 6 children. do not think john is a basket case as he rolled down his window & singed autographs & if he was so bad off he could have drove off. good luck john & you will always be a member of queen to me.
I agree.. Of the four of them, I think John is the most fun to watch in the videos, as he dances around the stage with his bass! So into the rhythm! He danced like he thought no one was watching... But we are all watching him now! Glad he is now enjoying his family. He made the right decision when he retired and put his family first!
Thanks John, you are like a beacon to us millions of fans!
Mr. John Deacon.. I lift my glass to you, sir. A competent musician.
That's a sucky thing to say jerk...
This was a lovely tribute! I hope he does see this video and comment thread. Wishing you well Deacy! Thanks for the music
It's a rare day that I don't hear them in some fashion, even if it's just in the background because my fave classic rock station plays a lot of their hits, several times a day
I love me some Deaky!! I hope he knows how loved he is, where ever he is!!!
I miss you John 😔
He’s soooooo adorable!
I wish we knew more about this bassist, but he’s just reserved....😕😔
