Parabola kick is pretty *Terry*-fiying (I’ll stop now). You can cancel the start up of the overhead into Vacuum toss. Meaning even if you’re reaction speeds are great you’re still likely to be mixed. He’s always had this too so it’s nice they’ve kept it. Even overhead kick benefits from this as it dodges low links and gives you a second try to open people up.
Fair bit, yeah. One thing that I do miss from Terry that Rock has is the Brake from his Rising Tackle. Seriously, that shit is fucking bonkers just for the meter build alone. And I suppose Rage Run makes up for his lack of a Crack Shoot, too.
garou pronounce gah-roe meaning hungry wolf or lethal/fatal wolf. garo densetsu the japanese name for fatal fury, meaning the legend of hungry wolves where you could choose to play either terry bogard, andy bogard or joe higashi, so i always assumed it referred to these original 3 as the wolves; but then we had mark of the wolves with kim's kids as well, so i guess it isn't limited to just the original 3
if i had to guess 🧐, the purpose of Rage Run > Overhead Kick is to condition & exploit a reaction for the Rage Run startup. (once they predict 214K>6D, use >D or >A to begin the mix 🔀) also 😯, i imagine the purpose of 'Overhead Kick' ain't the overhead but to start pressure & beat crouching players. if they don't stop you, then the true overhead may have its moment❗
1:23 You are wrong in one big thing, Rock is heavily dependent on meter, you need at least two bars to do anything decent at 40% of damage while let's say Joe can do with half of bar nearly 50% damage midscreen, that's why Rock should always be second in team!
I disagree, he's a fantastic point and doesn't need meter to have a good neutral, and his meterless combos hurts in comparison to others thanks to tackle break
Rock can easily break 200 damage from a goddamn light confirm, only beaten by his dad and Ralf for some of the highest damaging basic confirms in the entire game. Meter dependent _he is not_ .

WHOA
I just want to say how much I appreciate those thumbnails of yours lmao
I can’t believe how few subs you have, you’re probably about to blow up with all these amazing guides
^
Hopefully
This is the video that i wanted; not just combos, but all the moves and how to play as Rock 👍
The algorithm came through. Got my sub. Cant wait to see more. I liked how detailed your breakdown was. Keep it up
Ah sick, you're skipping straight to dlc. Nice! I just picked up Gato as my anchor and was wondering how long I'd have to wait. Nice work as usual!
a person doing guides and not combo videos with no inputs show.
i'll sub to just for that.
realtalk, Rock is looking like one of my new fav fighting game chars 👀
Rock players out there, do you think Terry experience helps out when picking up Rock?

Thankyou
thanks my loco!
Install also gives the reppuken higher durability
Rock reminds me of Giorno Giovanna, both have two dads - one bad and one good
👍
You can combo into his command grab, but it needs to be a light normal into his command normal

Overhead Kick is also pretty decent to use as a projectile call-out, too. Much like Iori's own 623K.
you can do both with Rage Run Dunk tho. And it's faster, so it's harder to react.
Overhead Kick doesn't even have much better recovery, so...
