    MkV Sage Rabbit 160K miles. I put some coilovers and 18" rims with low profile tires (nitrogen not air filled) for a stiffer ride but amazing run-flat like handling if they blow. I had a tire blow out the sidewall at 70mph and it didn't even swerve. LEDs for sure, I love the all-red interior, so cozy at night. The cabin air goes from fresh to re-circ when you back up...

    The Aluminium control arms and steering knuckles from a Passat can be had cheap from your local puller salvage yard. I snagged the entire setup for my MKV Jetta for $215 total.

    Love the work man. I've had my Mk. 8 since January, but my heart will forever belong to the Mk. 5's 😪 5cyls are cool as hell too. You don't see too many still kicking around. Glad you're doing her right 🔥

    Ima need that tune, watching your video just made me realize I got a performance cat when I saw that photo. Mines was stolen and I didn’t read the description of it until now 😅

    Running my mk5 with a stage 1 ie tune and a catback exhaust system pushing around 200hp, fun off the line but not very fast once u get to 3rd gear or so

    Love seeing videos giving the mk5 rabbit some love!
    Also have you ever gotten a check engine light for running lean when running that neuspeed intake?

    • @eurodriven2507
      @eurodriven2507  2 месяца назад

      No CEL because of the intake, but I know some have issues with shorter intake systems.

      @@eurodriven2507dang, I ask just because for a while, maybe 500 miles or so with that intake I was fine and dandy. But all of a sudden got a fuel system lean code with it and can’t figure out why. I’ve put the stock one on again and that light never comes

      in my opinion, I would get one of these, 5 cylinder german engineering, not many more chances to get your hands on something like that I feel.

    Should i get a 2.5 as a first car?

    • @eurodriven2507
      @eurodriven2507  3 месяца назад +1

      @@kidmods If you haven't already watched, check out my buyers guide and "hidden gem" videos on the 2.5. This was my GF's first car of her own. My brother's second car is a 2.5 Jetta wagon (first was a Mk4 wagon). They're very good first cars. Not too fussy, inexpensive, but will give you enough to learn the basics with.
