  • Welcome back y’all to Wellness Wednesday here at Spine and Rehab Specialists! Today, Dr. Earl Hayden, PT, DPT, CSCS and Chris McMillen go over some exercises for after a Cervical Fusion Surgery
If you’re having problems after trying these exercises on your own, come see one of our physical therapists! If you don’t have an injury per se but still want some more information, think about joining one of our amazing workout programs! We have the Wellness Program, intended to help our patients continue exercising and maintain the progress they reached while in physical therapy and and accomplish weight or fitness goals, it’s also tailored specifically to each individual and what they are looking to accomplish. And we also have our Sitting Strong Program, intended for anyone that is looking for a low - impact exercise program that is done from the comfort of their seat.
If you are experiencing any pain or have any injuries we can help you take control of your pain using manual therapy, functional dry needling, Graston and create a custom exercise plan that fits your needs. We also perform musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging which is GREAT for identifying injury to muscles or ligaments while you’re moving! If you’re still having problems after 2 weeks of therapy, then it’s time to go to your physician to start exploring other options. Join us tomorrow on our Thirsty for Knowledge Thursday where Anthony Durant and Harry Koster will go more in depth on Cervical Fusion surgeries, why someone would need one, what the rehab looks like, and how we can help you here at Spine & Rehab Specialists! Come back next Wellness Wednesday for more exercises and ideas to keep you moving!
