A quick question. Would you be willing to do this for every beach in Orange Country/San Diego?
Yes! Let me know some specific places so I can add it on my list. Check out my video in Mission Beach / Pacific Beach boardwalk in San Diego.:
ruclips.net/video/_YHF7n16gm8/видео.html

These videos are great for future generations who just want a glimpse to a world a few years back ! I wish we had videos like this going back to the 1900s onwards imagine the scene ! Its almost like backward time travel ! Great video thanks :)
I hope RUclips will still have my videos in the next 100 years. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe to my channel.
yeap the future generations will be lucky.
There were videos of city life, in the early 1900s, but they were far less detailed. Will definitely be cool to see this years and years from now. Also, on a side note: despite what many say about the state of the world today, there are so many great things happening throughout this video. I will bet that, 50 years from now, people will look back on this and say the same darn thing---that things were, "so simple back then; people actually interacted with each other, and *blah-blah-blah*"! ;-D
I highly doubt RUclips will be up 100 years from now.
allen they got a few like that just look on youtube 1900 they have a bunch of them
I've lived in venice my whole life, and have done this walk thousands of times. I love that the rest of the world can experience the odd beauty of this funky little beach paradise.
I'm heading there next month. Is it this festive every day or just during summer/weekends?
N:OW Don’t know what you mean by festive but yeah there’s always people and it’s a good time. As for events not everyday but there is an abundance of them. Enjoy!
How safe is it generally?Been wanting to go my whole life from Toronto.
@@mjlives5428 stay in toronto pls we don't want any foreigners america is only for real american trust me america is a thrid world don't come here
It’s not safe, homeless and drugs everywhere. Another liberal state many folks moved away from.
I’ve walked this many times...in GTA5.
You mean drove a car through here.

Your Videos are like a therapy for me. For the people who live on a other place in the world and can't visit places like this.
Great thank you!

Same for me. I can't get out and travel right now, and I'm kinda stuck, so these videos kinda ARE my traveling. :)
I like living in the US but I watch videos of Europe!
@@rerun3283 do you think europe better than usa? I am brazilian and always wanted to know what USA people's think about Europe.
I love places that have this vibe
This is just great. And thank you so much for not adding horrible music. Real is better.
Thank you Daniel! Yes, I want it to be authentic. If you enjoyed watching it, please subscribe to my channel.
. 📷 I enjoy the natural sods of the environment . Sound is half the story.

I cannot stand when people add terrible music to their videos. This was great.
i want to work in cali, can someone help me out? +233541018486
This makes me appreciate GTA 5 so much. Developers did an insane job
I grew up on that pier. It was different in the 60s. Playland was wet and dark you could see the ocean waves below your feet as you played pinball. Very few tourists in those days. Mostly fisherman, surfers, and people trying to make sense of their lives sitting and pondering. I remember them filming the Sting at the old Carousel. The beach was a lonely place in the 60s. You could lay your towel and not see another soul all day. Smelled like pot, sewer, and oil in those days. Peace out.
My friends bought really nice property on the beach back then. Can't do that now! I'm so jealous. It's a beautiful place to live. I love visiting.
@S Brown … _Meanwhile … on the East Coast … there was a similar vibe where I was … on the Jersey shore … before casinos … there was skee-ball 'n bumper cars on the boardwalk … a diving horse 'n a diving bell … the aroma of roasted peanuts, patchouli 'n creosote wafted through the breeze … pretty much every day was not only a good day ~ it was magnificent !!!_ 💛
“smelled like pot, sewer and oil in those days” lol some things never change!
You should have bought one of the house in there then.
You would be a million and over now.
@@ghasemahmadi3616 Nobody knew..Houses most places back then were 30k. Like most things now total insanity. Seriously you would have to have rocks for brains to pay a million dollars to live in Venice. You could own a 100 acre mansion in Ohio for what a 1200 sq ft Venice Condo costs. Not even a nice or safe beach community. As I write this looters are cleaning out many stores in Santa Monica for example.
Three days consecutively I went to Venice Beach and Santa Monica when I visited LA in 2003 and this video of yours brought back memories to me. .
It brought back great memories of traveling with a lover and meeting a super friend in California. Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, down town LA, Hollywood Hills(make out point), UCLA and traveling up&down the Pacific Coast Highway were fantastic highlights.
I'm from Germany, I've never been to LA before (unfortunately...), I just know the environment from GTA 5 and damn... It looks just exactly like in GTA 5 :o
You must go there, really worth seeing!!
@Arkham Knight yep.......
Hay xD
I live in Las Vegas , for the last 15 yrs.
I go to LA and surrounding areas every couple of yrs.
It is a 4 to 5 hour drive.
Venice Beach is on the top of my list whenever I go there.
Very nice indeed.
What horrible I did to born in the wrong country
What a great walk!!!! I loved the natural sounds of life ....thank you so much!
I’m stuck in the house with no friends and no money but now I’m in Venice Beach so thank you 😩😭🙌😅😅
Lol

I was just in Santa Monica/Venice not even 2 full weeks ago. That place is GORGEOUS! I need to go back, but this time during the summer season
It gets really hot here during the summer, make sure you bring sun block.
Great great video, so unique, great picture quality, so many people, everbody's relaxed, wanna thank you so much for this. I'm from Europe, have just had lunch, it's great that I can take a walk thru Venice beach, as if I am there myself, don't have to do it here now lol. Thanks again!
Thank you ddraguti! I''m glad the video transported you to Venice beach during your lunch! Please subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed watching it.
Done.
im from western europe too i am so keen to visit this beautiness
can you please tell me how life is there overall? living - expenses - rent - weather - transportation - traffic - food - earnings - job hunting etc so on. i would aprpreaciate. nice video
its the most expensive place to live in us mainand meaning not hawaii other then manhattan nyc. basically dont move to it if you dont make a consistent 125 grand a year as a single person, double if you need a two bedroom apartment
Venice Beach is my favorite place in the world! I used to take this walk every day. And now I can re-live it when I need to. Thanks so much!
Thanks for watching!
You havent been there recently? Its full of homeless. Nothing like this video anymore.
I have walked that walk many times over the years. Thank you.
I wish that I'm gonna be in California one day to full fill my dream in Hollywood. Thanks for the very beautiful view of the sight. God blesses you and have a great.
I'm from Fresno CA and have walked, biked and drove from Venice to Santa Monica and I absolutely love it. I would live in LA if it wasn't so damn expensive. I have family there too. Really loved the video too. That's just what an average day in LA looks like, it's beautiful.
very interesting, many thanks!
This place is a good mix of literally everything
Thanks for the nice video.. No need for a physical visit now... saves me 5 hours flight time and a few dollars airfare.. this video captures it all.
Camera work is amazing, so steady, it almost looks like you're floating, not walking, please tell us how you do this. Thanks
Judas X True words.
I love it.

I walked from Venice beach all the way to the Santa Monica pier back in March 2014 thinking it would only take around 20 minutes. Boy, was I wrong. Lmao👌💯
He was filming during cold weather. During hot weather there will be a lot more people, and they will be wearing much less clothes.
savage
SJ Dude TM real shit he's right I live an hour away from there in summer time it's popping lol
I hate other people and would go there only in the winter.
Forget it during hot sunny weather. The sun will fry your skin so a hat, sunglasses, protective clothes and lots of sunscreen is required.
The ghetto vibe of Venice beach is what makes it so interesting and unforgettable. Instead of cookie cutter clean tourist trap this place has a raw energy and uniqueness to it. Loved it.
That was a long walk...I need to sit down with a cool beer now.
I hope you enjoyed watching. Please subscribe to my channel and check my other videos too.
Love your videos. I've watched a few other "walking tour" videos and yours are the best. The sound, the quality and the way you film are superior. Thank you! Your videos have helped me choose where I am going to live next, so thanks!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Walked this walk many times. Very nice video. Thanks!!
Had an amazing time at Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. Lots to see and do. Very relaxing just to walk the strip.
God bless you and your dedication to make us all entertained.
I lived in Venice from 1990 until 2005, and actually miss it, although I've moved on to Rome ITALY. Listening to an oldie SENSITIVITY by Ralph Tresvant, which I listened to on my many bike rides in the early 90s, takes me back. Who knows, I just might make it back. Cheers!!
I literally watching this every morning manifesting my Cali dreams, thanks for this!
I wished I lived in Los Angeles. No other beach in the world has the same atmosphere. America really is such a beautiful country. So much to see.
That's amazing. *I'm from Russia, St. Petersburg and I sometimes play in GTA 5, and I can not imagine what it is in real life!*
loved the video...brings back memories from the 60s when it was less crowded...
THANKS FOR YOU EFFORTS
Showed exactly what i wanted do when i get to los angeles. Your video was very helpful and informative. Thanks
used to walk the walk 2 times a week . before i moved to Arizona . Miss it very much !!

Hello you got me inspired by your VIDEO I used to live there from 1979 to 1991 and I'm still missing California great city thanks for the opportunity to see what is for me the best dream, the California dream.
I'm going to California... thats my dream! :D

Go. It is like being in heaven. I honeymooned in southern California and went to San Diego, Disneyland, L.A. etc. Saw Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, etc..I live on the East Coast and do love it but my gosh what I would give to go back. I loved it there.
Tip: rent a car if you go to L.A. it isn't transit friendly and be prepared for traffic. But feel free to explore!! There is so much to see!!
I was just listening to the Doors song Peace Frog, Jim Morrison mentions the "palm trees of Venice", guess that's what he's talking about, beautiful trees! Another great video, thankyou :)
These kinds of videos are result of great games like GTA SA and GTA V
Aww God
How beautiful is everything there?
I'm so far away from LA but I feel like LA is my home.
Thank you, for the video.
Stay safe if you ever come here
Happy travels
I'm from the UK, London and planning to visit here sometime next year :D
I lived in this area in the nineties and it was great then. Was there again from 2012-2014 and things have changed a lot, still has my heart though.

lmao!!
I think she found the green doctor at 0:42
Wonderful perfect video reminding me of my times there in 1986
People talk so much crap about California...but its still the numer one most visited state in entire United States..it generates the most money..and its for a good reason!
Araceli Rosales BEEN SAYING THIS THANK YOU LOL THEY HATE IT CUZ THEY CANT AFFORD TO VISIT OR LIVE HERE ITS THE TRUTH THEY ALSO CANT STAND HOW WE LIVE SMH THEY JUST SOME HATERS AND WE JUST BE CHILLEN LAID BACK
No,Florida is.
@Parker930 Wow! Hawaii is at #10 behind Georgia and Arizona! Thought it would be higher.
People? Only retarded nut jobs republicans.
@@CGarrett Florida is garbage
As a young boy in the late 50's living on Ozone ave. I ruled the beaches between Venice and S.M. During those times even lower-income families could live there. greatest memories.
What a beauty hopefully change is coming soon to this area
hehe, the old geezer in a green shirt is fast...! 10:33
i been there a month ago and is exactly the same place as i did walk to... what a wonderful beach! and Santa Monica Pier is amazing. Thanks for bring me back to that lovely country :)
I played so much gta5 ,its like gta5 lol welcome 2 reality boy ;)
I expected more but at the same time it's everything I had imagined it to be. From Europe and been aware of the place for quite some time. Can't wait to go there in person.
♪California dreamin'....on such a winter's day♪......anyone else here old enough to remember that like me or am I the last of the old school dinosaurs? Lol
John Cashin --- I'm 70 and still listen to the Mamas & the Papas songs on RUclips. I have made that same hike many times on trips to the LA area. Some of the opening intro scenes in the sitcom Three's Company were filmed in that area. I wish I could make it back once more to visit the Santa Monica Pier.
Thanks, Tex :)
i remember that song well.. Denny wrote that song while he was in my home town, halifax ns, which is also his home town.. Love California dreamin. And love California
don't sing anymore you scared my bird, now he won't stop chirping because of your singing. you sound like a whale.

I will never forget living in wonderful Calif. Hoping to return!!!❤😊
A great, quiet walk and well made. Thanks again the operator.

Don the walk pier to pier many times in past years. Started in 70s. So much change yet so much the same. Good vibes..Great people watching, food, entertainment and exercise. We bought pot but not legally then...Miss it.
Last walk was 3 years ago. Time to do it again.
Soy de Chile, gracias por tu vídeo! En esta vida nunca podría conocer esas zonas hermosas de e.e.u.u. Pero me sentí ahí cuando viajaba a través de tu cámara. LIKE
Thanks! Would love to visit Chile someday.
This footage is so well captured! Thank so much for sharing!
Interesting how much it changed since I lived there. I left in 86, and went to Oregon.
I remember this place from the 1960's, before the pier was demolished by a storm.
Growing up in Santa Monica and Venice was an experience I will never forget, I am just lucky to have survived it.
James Fenton how has Venice beach changed since in your opinion?
Gentrification, rents skyrocketed, businesses and people that made Venice interesting were forced out.
It will never be the Venice I remember, now it is just a tourist trap.
The Bohemian side of Venice is dead, and that's what made it an interesting place to live.
damn that sucks. thanks for replying. the almighty dollar rules and ruins again. Ive always imagined myself a Cali type of person. I'm laid back and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities. Live in South Florida now..it's ok but something is missing here... i think it's the people. I'm from NYC originally . If i were to make a move to Cali id like to find a nice middle ground. the search continues.

@11:42 look up and see the mural of that guy on the side of that building? I sat and drank beer watching that guy dangling and painting himself dangling. THAT was awesome to watch!!

i miss those days way back but now I can imagine its all fd up!!!
I love Los Angeles so much. 🌇🧡 I wish I was born in LA. I always feel like I belong to California. I hope I will come one day. 🧜♀️
Have you made it out here to Los Angeles yet?
It must of been freezing out there the day you made this video.

Freezing in LA?! In May?! You must be kidding! LA gets cold, but not freezing. 🥰✌️
Wow! I feel like I've been to Venice beach now! You've uploaded the best touristy exploration video ever!!!
And it's so smooth, not jittery and colorful! Thank you so much for this beautiful video! Now I want to move here!

Praise always for your videos, my friend! What is surprising to me is this: I got the inspiration to pause the video and google interesting looking storefronts - you made this video 4 years ago, which almost seems like part of the trail we can still see! Already I have found 2 locations are permanently closed, despite accomplished reviews, etc. Would you know - does real estate turn over this fast all the time in Venice Beach?! or did some new restrictions come along and owners had to spin on to more fertile ground?
love Los Angeles 😍❤❤❤
Ammar, please visit my channel for more videos in LA. I hope you subscribe to my channel.
Wow! Thanks so much for the video tour of Venice Beach what a beautiful place
Come here around Labor Day/Late in the Summer and you'll find this place jam packed!

I was eleven years old in 1967 when my family moved to Santa Monica, CA. I still love it. It was cheaper back then; we had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apt on 10th street (1800 block) for $115 a month. I used to walk to SAMOHI (Santa Monica High) and to the beach. Santa Monica Pier to Venice Beach was a great walk.
amazing video. i'm from new york - was just out in cali last month and did this along the ocean. beautiful out there. will be back soon. loved the video, brought me back.

Did this wak many times when I lived there. Great memories, thank you!
You know Ur videos are kind of asmr like when you get to quiet spots and all u can hear is Ur footsteps and others x
I’m from the uk and I’ve never been to America before I would love to go but can’t now cuz of this stupid lockdown but in the future hopefully everything will go to plan
i know I'm a year late seeing this video but i live on the east coast and from playing GTA5 and looking at pictures of this place it just looks so fun and a lot of things to keep people busy
Very nice. Thank you for this vid. What type of camera/equipment did you use? I noticed there is very little motion/shaking from the camera as you're walking.
So much to do there. Palm trees are so beautiful and I bet the ocean air is so comfortable.
I can't even begin to put into words what watching this is doing to me. THIS was the world I left behind forever when my employer (Camarillo Developmental Center) was sold out to private developers (only a very small portion is used today as a university) and I was forced to move to the land of the walking dead: the Central Valley of California. Not a day goes by that I don't miss coming "over the hill" into Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Every day was an adventure there. I miss everything about it. THANKS for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!
What city???
Great video. I agree no music and real sound is better. Gta got me there sort of but thanks this really puts me there...
best GTA V graphic mod I've ever seen!
I'm an Artist, Designer from London, I love the video. I'm there next year, can't wait to walk this strip
It was great visiting LA. I flew out there by myself for the weekend. Got me a motel in the hood lol. It was great. I felt like I was at home. Awesome vibe and the people from LA are really humble. I definitely want to visit it again. Good memories :)
That's about it for sure! The essence of Venice has changed so much over the years but it still has the flavour! You definetly picked a rather quiet time. Nice!

Zack Ch' snipers on the beach!
its legal now so i dont know what those guys are up too
YES KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
The best place that I remember! I love Venice!
My first visit to California I made this walk. All I could think about was all the movies that where made here. California is such a beautiful state, it's to bad the politicians have turned it into a port-o-let.
I've never seen somewhere look so chill and chaotic at the same time. Dying to checkout California. Thanks for the tour.
My dream home. I can't wait to leave Canada. Love Toronto but I need a switch up!
lol at all the Canadians (myself included) watching these videos of LA ; )
Why??? LA is like the shittiest parts of Toronto, just with less weather.
