In addition to taking care of her mother, Serra works in a luxury hotel and studies at a private university on a scholarship; Despite his young age, he had to take on great responsibilities. Selim, the heir apparent of the wealthy Kutlusay Family, who is studying at the same university, receives criticism from his family, especially his father İhsan Kutlusay, for his indifference to his studies and his fondness for entertainment.
Serra, who is trying to get out of work and catch up with class, goes to school by limousine as a result of an incident at the hotel, causing all eyes to be on her. While Serra's fame spreads rapidly at school, their accidental meeting with Selim will completely change the lives of both of them.

That's mostly because of Nilgun and Ihsan's past .. grandmother ihsan both have obligation also slim has issues so if he is happy with any girl they will welcome any girl for sake of selim .. there appreciation for serra until she is making selim happy ..

You must keep in mind that this family, (mainly their mother) has done that before when Selim's dad, Ihsan who was madly in love with Serra's mom, Nilgun. Now they will not repeat the same mistake as they have learned that it was a mistake that put Ihsan with likes of Asena. So they are welcoming Serra. Also Selim has been in trouble and has psychological issues which they did not know how to deal with. Serra had a great impact on their peoblem child, so that is the reason they welcomed Serra. In a way it is a self serving attitude LOL.

I love Zeynap, too. Biricik bullied and humiliated everyone around her, but somehow, as soon as Zeynap gave Biricik a dose of her own medicine, it was wrong. I really hated that Zeynap got expelled, but Biricik got away with her behaviour.

The fact that the episodes are extra long comparing to other dramas, they are extremely worth it
No after a few episodes it gets irritating and annoying.

She's a very strong lady. She's not rude she just shutting unnecessary people off her life cause she don't want drama and wasting time dealing with people and their unimportant opinion. She's a beautiful soul that loves and cared for people who she chooses as a family eventhough they don't like her very much such as Nazli.💚

Selim mentions the same to her that you deserve a much better person than him and it is only through Birrick's words Serra realizes her pride, changes herself and reconciles with Selim. It is the same pride Burrak has fallen victim to in the start. I really like the actor's performance in the role of Birrick. She killed it with her eyes
@@Srimanth438 yes we have seen it that birrick is indeed a caring person especially to someone she likes which in this case is saleim. She is his childhood friend who obviously had a crush on him and that crush can become a strong desire, goal/aim and obsession. This is common in real life too. In fact even i had a crush on my friend although classmate would be a more accurate term. Sadly, I was not able to muster up the courage to tell her about my feelings.

I love how the character of serra's mom is developing she is slowly understanding that for many years her daughter had been thinking an taking care of her and now its high time to come back in the role of a mother and think about serra's future

Now I realize that this drama isn't just romantic drama, it focuses more on problems of selim and his family, it's not boring but I wish there are more Serra and Selim scene.
the storyline was a bit boring and no depth no wonder its just a 12 episodes so short, so far the only good series iwatched was sonyaz and high society, it tackles more problems on community, family , betrayal, greed , power and love
That's why I skip most of the time while watching

He is sick as you said. Sad thing is that not many people here see his obsession. He was stalking her, he harassed her constantly, and then he sexualy assaulted her by touching her by force and kissing her. This huge thing was not noticed by many women here and they attack Serra just like the one nighter Eda.

When a man is abusive, maybe the woman did something to upset him. These woman who dont want men to be accountable for their own actions are very scary.

Scary it is when some of these women go for men like Burak and get raped or killed or end up in shelters for abused women. We saw the anger that this so called 'loving' Burak showed when Serra stood up to him.

@@Frenchii91 Agree 100%. I love this show because it shows what happens in real life. Unfortunately after only 12 episodes. It is a sad thing in our real life. We know that majority of people who watch these series are more traditional stay home women. Even though Turkey is a very modern country, this kind of topics are not accepted by more conservative population who are the majority of their viewers (my thinking only). Unfortunately this show got cancelled after only 12 episodes because not many people continued watching. It is a pity as this show discussed so many real life issues that many people are dealing with but do not talk about it. The important one is the childhood sexual abuse of young boys/men. I know majority of survivors of sexual abuse are women and even though it is never enough but majority of services that exists are for women not men. Men who are abuse do not talk about it because of the shame attached to it (Like Selim never told we only heard it in his conversation with Asena) Even if they do talk about it, there are not many places to go to get help. Another series with a great topic that was cancelled was t the glass ceiling (Cam Tavanlar) A great cancelled series with an important message about women in the society and obstacles they face. To see subtitles you have to turn on the CC then click on the Settings then Subtitles and Auto- translate then down the list choose English .

Try to watch also EARLY BIRD Can Yaman and Demet Highly Recommended. The love and principles of the actor was really amazing. Their love was pure. And the comedy and all actors in the drama was superb.

Selim is a young man who had lots of psychological issues. He is a handsome and rich guy (son of the owner of the university) and that is why a lot of girls are after him. When he returned from America this group who were in his cycle before came around him and as he was not happy at home, these were his only options. That is why he had no other friends. What I like about him is that he is aware of his friends flaws but he is not stabbing them in the back and anything that bothers him he confronts them right away in their faces. Meeting Serra was the turning point in his life because he felt real sincere love for the first time in his life and that is why he does not want to let go of her.

And what is this about taking the person's purse away? I have never heard of that. They usually take your outer clothes, umbrella and tote bag but never the purse.

I find it interesting that no-one finds it odd that Selim spends time with his friend Burak and girls when he has a girlfriend. A party and a mixed group I'd understand. But two boys and two girls for a drinking party.... and twice! I can't imagine any girls here accepting that sort of a behavior from a boyfriend, but maybe it's ok in Turkey? And then he has the audacity to be jealous of her getting a scholarship in America....What a jerk.

I really like the conflict in this drama. It's still common sense. This means that it actually happens in real life.
Yes sometimes they exaggerate and make people a bit domb to extend the show but usually the writers get their ideas from their own dreams or things that they see and hear around them or see in the news.
Lesson n.1: there are still people who marry someone for their money and they pretending being in love. I cannot understand why men cannot see this ! I know so many cases! Money comes from hard work. Thank you ❤️

It's so funny to me how Selim doesn't give a rats ass about Zeynep and Biricks fight 🤣 at 50:23 the little effort he puts in trying to break them up is so hilarious because he only extends his arm and it seems as if his other hand is still occupied holding Serra's hand🤣🤣 unlike Burak who had to physically stand in between them Selim and Serra are such goals in this scene because I just love how they care to be concerned but are not intervening in the whole situation btw Serra looks so good in her close up at 50:42 and Miss Ozge burnt orange it your colour obsessed with serras outfit and the colour contrast of the outfit🧡❤
35:32 Serra is a great daughter, her mother does not deserve her. It seems like she sat around being sad and drunk while Serra went to school, got a job and helped take care of the house. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I see.

She does not deserve to be called a mother. When Serra shows any sign of happiness the mother seems so upsets. I guess her daughter should be unhappy like her

This is the only movie i don't escape a single scene, it is worth watching.
