I made a diy out a photo my husband took for a local magazine but they didn't use. I put it on wood and I go back and forth about framing it. It is larger, but I'm not even sure what frame I could use.

I love the black painting as they really do anchor that door. The rugs definitely look expressive I think it's a very important purchase because most of the time it's the biggest thing in the room and for me it takes forever to decide. Can't wait to see the diy on the painting. So true what you said about minimalism if not done right it just looks empty. If you could give some more pointers on minimalism that would be great I value your opinion. Be safe Blessing.

So I started following you last night and and OMG! There you are on Tamron Hall and she said your from Pittsburgh so am I and I plan on keeping your around because I love your decorating.
At this point I’m hooked on your channel. Currently trying to decided what rug to add to my dining section in an open floor plan.
Kiva!! How are you? I hope you and the Mrs. had a wonderful Thanksgiving! So! What I've started doing is buying large prints from IKEA. I cover them with either plain, black or white peel-n-stick wallpaper. On the black paper, I used a white paint pen, and drew a very, intricate design. With the white paper, I poured black acrylic paint into vinyl spackle, and made a simple, yet, cool design. That way, I can change the art, by simply removing the peel-n-stick paper! Voila!
