    It was getting to a stage that by 1990 all the big Yard sounds had stopped using Djs and were getting their favoured artists on Dub plate.
    It was more cost effective
    for a start.
    Killamanjaro was at this stage the only clash sound left using Djs mainly due to the success of Stone love who were the "total dubz" blueprint.
    As Charlie mentioned about
    Jammys who we're now juggling too.
    Jaro were on a mission
    to seek and destroy juggling
    sounds.
    By 1994 even Trooper had succumbed and they entered
    their dub plate phase.
    but they never gave up their
    "rub a dub sound " status.

      The main reason for the decline in live DJs at dance was that the DJs were getting a lot of overseas booking, so the sound owners couldn't guarantee their appearance at dances

    • @edsmith1757
      @edsmith1757 7 лет назад +1

      hector burton Come on Hector
      it's very romantic to say he did but
      Bob died in 1981 and he was Sick for the last 3 years of his life do you really think he voiced dub for Jaro ?
      I think he voiced a jingle for Rodigan after an interview on capital radio
      but no one got dub from Bob
      it was Ziggy Marley
      don't be stupid man
      think logically

    • @yardvibeztv
      @yardvibeztv 7 лет назад

      evan smith oh come on.. bob died 81 and was sick three years before doesn't mean he couldn't of voice dub for jaro..jaro was around in bob Marley days so he could of voice it. you're talking like you have bob Marley profile and kno everything he did. don't take jaro lightly. and again the photo stated that this dance was 91 so where and how did ziggy Marley could of voice this. you're not thinking logically enough, Think again.
