In the midst of my torment I committed adultery with a married man for 2 years and he bumped me leaving me desperate and wretched emotionally… this song helped me to realize that in God’s eyes I am still the pure , holy woman he wonderfully and fearfully made …. This song has me flowing with tears. Weeping for my granddaughter who struggles with her image and self esteem. We almost lost her from heart failure due to anorexia in 2022. Now she wants to be a boy and has followed the world's current obsession by giving herself a new male name. She has the most beautiful thick, soft, curly hair and her lips are full and gorgeous. Most of all she has always had such a quiet and gentle voice and would do anything for anyone. She does not ACT like a boy. I tell her all of the time how much I love her. Satan has convinced her otherwise. PLEASE PRAY that God wakes her up to how BEAUTIFUL HE made her just the way she is . She is only 17. Not yet the age of reasoning (24).

I woke up this morning feeling absolutely horrible. I’m diabetic and right now my blood sugar monitor isn’t working which means it’s not communicating to my insulin monitor. My blood sugar is really, really high right now. And I can’t even replace my blood sugar monitor because this one wasn’t supposed to end yet so we don’t have another one yet. I’m feeling nauseated from how high my blood sugar. I’m also having asthma right now and my asthma medicine makes my blood sugar high as well. So I feel absolutely horrible right now. I’m feeling as far away from Beautiful as possible. But this song popped into my head just now while I was lying in bed crying over how horrible I felt. It’s good to know that even when you don’t feel beautiful or worthy or good enough or just ok in general God still finds you beautiful because He made you and He loves you. It’s very comforting

I could tell so many people these things, and believe everything I told them. In fact I have! . . . but can never ever believe these things for myself. The bad things, the reinforced things, are so much easier to believe. There is always a struggle in me between the belief that even after death, even in Glorification, things will still be Ecclesiastes, and it is only the choice to intellectually believe what God says in His Word that keeps me going much of the time. I can't bring myself to believe that after death will be good, but I choose to believe what God says. Does that make sense to anyone? For years the statement the guy made in Mark 9 of "I believe, help me in my unbelief" didn't make sense, but I completely understand, now.

My wonderful wife of 30 years sent me this song on day one of an addiction/PTSD treatment center. Years of physical (prescribed opiates) mental and emotional pain and I finally ended up injecting fentanyl and wanted nothing more than death. Soon after this song came out, I was gaining the freshman 15 (in my case, freshman 20). I saw the number and my waistline increase. I went to a christmas party where I would eat the best cookies. But I kept eating them. I would count every one...7...8...9, now you'll have to do one workout...two workouts...three workouts. The stress of it made it easier to eat more. I got to 12, and I felt miserable. I acted happy for the rest of the party. Later that night, I tried to figure out how to get rid of 12 cookies. I could just not eat much the next few days, but considering I didn't control myself tonight, how could I expect to control myself for days on end? I'm out of the workout habit, no guarantee that I can make up for it that way. Well, I could just purge it now, that would get rid of it. I've tried twice before, but didn't go through with it. Actually do it this time. So I tried. As I was on my knees, my mind was so loud. Holy Spirit tried to stop me. He would say, "Please! You're beautiful, stop!!!" That didn't work. Then, a phrase from a book I recently read came up from a girl who struggled with anorexia and bolemia, "...kneeling before a porcelain throne....kneeling before a porcelain throne." At the same time, words from this song came, "...Of all the wonders He possessed, there was one more precious....You're the one He madly loves, enough to DIEEEE!!!" There was also static, like everything was yelling at me! After struggling with this for a few minutes, I got up with no mess. My mind finally got quiet again, and I cried into Holy Spirit's arms. This song, while not being the only thing that convinced me to stop, was successful in its intent to help me fight. Now, I still haven't lost the 20, but the body can take that on much better that what would've happened had this attempt been successful. How much damage could have happened to secure something so temporary and shallow as appearance!?

Hi, my name is Anna, I am 20. I have not gone through a lot of dark things like so many people, I have been shielded from that, wether a good thing or a bad thing I am not sure. I was homeschooled for 8 years, I would Never change those years but it caused some anxiety. I have a lot of fear welling up inside of me. I do not know what to do. Where to go. I am in college but commuting, so I do not stay in a dorm. I live at home. I get free classes until I am 21. But once I turn 21 then what? I am not sure if I will be able to get financial aid yet or not. Whether I can or not, I am not sure where I should continue school, what classes to take and how to pay for them. I have this inner rejection towards school I am not exactly sure why. It is probably the fear but it makes it extremely difficult to continue. But I feel I should stay in school. I do not know what to do for a career. I also struggle with anxieties. I do not have enough anxiety for it to be a disability. It is just a nuisance that is less then a lot of peoples but stronger then some. I have never had a public panic attack or any very big one. I am afraid I will end up alone without a significant other. I am afraid of so many things. Also I have this addiction that is similar to one I had in the past but I cannot shake this one as easy. Would anyone pray for me?

It is getting better now, for which I am grateful! I have a few questions, to begin with. Are you a Christian? Do you know God & Jesus Christ in a personal way? I haven't been a Christian, a follower of Christ, for that many years. Though, in His kindness, Jesus has sought and found me. And, I can say, He's the only one who can really help in this sort of situations. What I can say is: talk to Him, seek His face and ask Him to help you sort through your thoughts and emotions. Through everything. And putting them where they belong. Maybe there's a lot of stuff accumulated, of which you didn't really think much. Never really thought whether some thoughts or feelings are good or bad. Or didn't really make anything of them. Well, if we just silently and passively accept most of what is being transmitted to us (one way or another) - well, then we've got another thing coming! This has helped me, personally. Taking each thought and feeling and seeing whether, or not, they're helpful. What kind of thought / feeling is it? Where is it coming from? What is it aimed at? This sort of a process has helped me greatly, especially in the beginning. Might seem like a lot of work. It sure took a lot of time getting used to doing it. Maybe you're a faster study than me here. :) Either way, don't fret it! Don't let that prospectively put you off. Things will get easier further down the road. And this process, of getting your mind and soul organised, will pay off later. It will help you have a better, more disciplined and organised life, as a result. And happier, I should say. Just don't overdo it and fall in the trap of super-analysing everything - while not really doing anything else. Life is too short to just think about stuff all of the time and not actually doing anything. And, don't worry, we're all facing fears. All of our lives we will be tempted to give in to fears and feel small, weak, vulnerable in various aspects. And these things come and go, throughout different seasons. And this lasts all life long. The key is to never give up, to never give in. Always fight them. And keep at it until you're a winner. God promises us the power of self-control. In the Bible, in Galatians, chapter 5, verses 22 & 23, we are told: "But the fruit of the (Holy) Spirit (third person of the Holy Trinity, along with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Chris) is joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law". And He will teach us and help use use it - whether it's thoughts, or feelings or anything else. We just need to take Him up on that. :) And He's the only one who can provide light and guidance for us, through reading His Word, the Bible, and practicing a personal relationship with Him. :) Well, God bless you & I hope this has been helpful! I could tell so many people these things, and believe everything I told them. In fact I have! . . . but can never ever believe these things for myself. The bad things, the reinforced things, are so much easier to believe.
There is always a struggle in me between the belief that even after death, even in Glorification, things will still be Ecclesiastes, and it is only the choice to intellectually believe what God says in His Word that keeps me going much of the time. I can't bring myself to believe that after death will be good, but I choose to believe what God says. Does that make sense to anyone?
For years the statement the guy made in Mark 9 of "I believe, help me in my unbelief" didn't make sense, but I completely understand, now.

Years of physical (prescribed opiates) mental and emotional pain and I finally ended up injecting fentanyl and wanted nothing more than death. Soon after this song came out, I was gaining the freshman 15 (in my case, freshman 20). I saw the number and my waistline increase. I went to a christmas party where I would eat the best cookies. But I kept eating them. I would count every one...7...8...9, now you'll have to do one workout...two workouts...three workouts. The stress of it made it easier to eat more. I got to 12, and I felt miserable. I acted happy for the rest of the party. Later that night, I tried to figure out how to get rid of 12 cookies. I could just not eat much the next few days, but considering I didn't control myself tonight, how could I expect to control myself for days on end? I'm out of the workout habit, no guarantee that I can make up for it that way. Well, I could just purge it now, that would get rid of it. I've tried twice before, but didn't go through with it. Actually do it this time. So I tried. As I was on my knees, my mind was so loud. Holy Spirit tried to stop me. He would say, "Please! You're beautiful, stop!!!" That didn't work. Then, a phrase from a book I recently read came up from a girl who struggled with anorexia and bolemia, "...kneeling before a porcelain throne....kneeling before a porcelain throne." At the same time, words from this song came, "...Of all the wonders He possessed, there was one more precious....You're the one He madly loves, enough to DIEEEE!!!" There was also static, like everything was yelling at me! After struggling with this for a few minutes, I got up with no mess. My mind finally got quiet again, and I cried into Holy Spirit's arms. This song, while not being the only thing that convinced me to stop, was successful in its intent to help me fight. Now, I still haven't lost the 20, but the body can take that on much better that what would've happened had this attempt been successful. How much damage could have happened to secure something so temporary and shallow as appearance!?

Rest In Peace Buddy.

Hi, my name is Anna, I am 20. I have not gone through a lot of dark things like so many people, I have been shielded from that, wether a good thing or a bad thing I am not sure. I was homeschooled for 8 years, I would Never change those years but it caused some anxiety. I have a lot of fear welling up inside of me. I do not know what to do. Where to go. I am in college but commuting, so I do not stay in a dorm. I live at home. I get free classes until I am 21. But once I turn 21 then what? I am not sure if I will be able to get financial aid yet or not. Whether I can or not, I am not sure where I should continue school, what classes to take and how to pay for them. I have this inner rejection towards school I am not exactly sure why. It is probably the fear but it makes it extremely difficult to continue. But I feel I should stay in school. I do not know what to do for a career. I also struggle with anxieties. I do not have enough anxiety for it to be a disability. It is just a nuisance that is less then a lot of peoples but stronger then some. I have never had a public panic attack or any very big one. I am afraid I will end up alone without a significant other. I am afraid of so many things. Also I have this addiction that is similar to one I had in the past but I cannot shake this one as easy. Would anyone pray for me?

I can relate to the fear part. Been through something similar myself. It is getting better now, for which I am grateful! I have a few questions, to begin with. Are you a Christian? Do you know God & Jesus Christ in a personal way? I haven't been a Christian, a follower of Christ, for that many years. Though, in His kindness, Jesus has sought and found me. And, I can say, He's the only one who can really help in this sort of situations. What I can say is: talk to Him, seek His face and ask Him to help you sort through your thoughts and emotions. Through everything. And putting them where they belong. Maybe there's a lot of stuff accumulated, of which you didn't really think much. Never really thought whether some thoughts or feelings are good or bad. Or didn't really make anything of them. Well, if we just silently and passively accept most of what is being transmitted to us (one way or another) - well, then we've got another thing coming! This has helped me, personally. Taking each thought and feeling and seeing whether, or not, they're helpful. What kind of thought / feeling is it? Where is it coming from? What is it aimed at? This sort of a process has helped me greatly, especially in the beginning. Might seem like a lot of work. It sure took a lot of time getting used to doing it. Maybe you're a faster study than me here. :) Either way, don't fret it! Don't let that prospectively put you off. Things will get easier further down the road. And this process, of getting your mind and soul organised, will pay off later. It will help you have a better, more disciplined and organised life, as a result. And happier, I should say. Just don't overdo it and fall in the trap of super-analysing everything - while not really doing anything else. Life is too short to just think about stuff all of the time and not actually doing anything. And, don't worry, we're all facing fears. All of our lives we will be tempted to give in to fears and feel small, weak, vulnerable in various aspects. And these things come and go, throughout different seasons. And this lasts all life long. The key is to never give up, to never give in. Always fight them. And keep at it until you're a winner. God promises us the power of self-control. In the Bible, in Galatians, chapter 5, verses 22 & 23, we are told: "But the fruit of the (Holy) Spirit (third person of the Holy Trinity, along with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Chris) is joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law". And He will teach us and help use use it - whether it's thoughts, or feelings or anything else. We just need to take Him up on that. :) And He's the only one who can provide light and guidance for us, through reading His Word, the Bible, and practicing a personal relationship with Him. :)
