@@660productionz3 recommend starting here at my build thread. There's so many options but if you have the money, I'd recommend a stand alone ECU and a TH400 trans.

Wait so you cut the front end frame bracing to fit the radiator? you get hit from either side near the front you just destroyed your radiator. They make special ones to fit inside that frame to retain the rigidity.
Holly 💩 so this will fit in my 03 Tacoma?ive put e85 and tune on a coyote f150 and it was ridiculous! May have to detune yours😂 it’ll be a bullet for sure awesome swap man 👍🏽

Cut up the old engine side mounts, and welded on tabs to the crossmember that a bolt then when through to connect the two. Had to notch out the driver side frame rail to make the EPAS fit. Recommend going with a manual rack that fits better if it would work for your application.
Negative it is external. It is mounted on the frame rail under the driver's seats and is gravity fed from the tank to the pump. The bottom of the tank tapers down to ensure a constant supply of fuel if you are low and it is sloshing around. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thank you so much for this! I have an 86 I'm wanting to do this with. This video is a huge help. I have a few questions: 1. Can we get a closeup view of the motor mounts? How did you go about mounting them to the Ranger frame? 2. Why did you adapt the rack and pinion steering? Could you not tie the F-150 steering shaft to the Ranger steering box? 3. My Ranger is lowered with the DJI dream beams. Do you foresee this being an issue? Again, thank you!!!
it's been almost 3 years and I won the Copart Auction for $4700 . Tag on about another 1k for fees and shipping. I never confirmed the frame was damaged, but I suspect it was since they totaled it versus just replacing the bed.
How expensive was the swap money wise
Up to this point, $11.4k and over half of that was the donor truck. I imagine at today's prices you're probably looking closer to 15k
Interested in selling the truck

We wanna do twin 76 on Holley efi

Thinking about doing this to my 1998 Ford Explorer if my 4.0 v6 blows up 🤔
Highly recommend. Or you could probably get a 3.5 ecoboost for cheaper and it would be just as fun!
Also too, to remember that the 8.8 rear ends come out of the Ford Rangers that came with the 4.0 v6.
Too late at this point! I have my built 8.8 from the exploder

Only cut the cross support for the body panels. If the truck gets hit there will be a lot more to worry about than the radiator
Bad ass build !
Thank you!

Thanks for the love! I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Definitely would be tight like mine but anything is possible with enough fab.
A 3uz will fit a tacoma, there's a guy doing a 3ur tacoma..

What did u use for engine mounts?also did u have to cut the frame at all to get it to fit correctly?

How wide are the rear wheels and what backspacing? Thanks.

Have you considered doing this but with a 4x4 ranger or bronco ii
Thinking of it with my 03 Tacoma
No I intend on sticking with this truck.
Cool video. I was thinking about this yesterday. Any idea on how much it weighs?
Thanks! No clue how much it weighs. Haven't had the chance to take it to a scale.

Chopped the stock motor mount. Bolt runs to a plate that is welded to the frame.
I had ScottRodFab make me some sweet aluminum door panels for my 88 that would look killer in your truck
