So nice to see my favourite little town, in all of Mexico. She's honestly one of the greatest destinations with amazing people, food and just a great energy! We like to travel each day to another beach area or town in the area, but we are always happy to come 'home' at night to watch the village come alive. Sayulita feels like home, and one day it just may be for me.
I can see why you feel that way. It is such a gem - so many amazing restaurants, great nightlife, beautiful beaches and hiking and so much access to nature in general. I definitely fell for it!
Me too, especially the temperatures!! It feels so much cooler in CDMX now. I didn't realize I linked to your wrong channel! Will swap out the links now!
Love your videos and effort it takes to do them!!! We are moving to Puerto Vallarta for the beach beauty AND the FIBER INTERNET. We are not going to live in the tourist area but the more traditional Pitillal area and Sayulita is a bus ride away or the PV area beaches. We also spent a lot of time in Manzanillo and it is beautiful there and fiber can be had there too. We work online and NEED the fiber so hopefully you can find a happy middle ground. Love your videos!!!! All the best to you!!!
Thanks so much! Yea you totally understand the need for the balance then too! It's hard to find a beautiful beach spot AND good wifi in Mexico haha but yea I spent the summer near Manzanillo which was wonderful and I do LOVE Puerto Vallarta, too! Hope you enjoy it!
I'm glad you found them helpful. They are not doing temperature checks anywhere that we went while I was there, but they may be doing it in other places that I didn't check out. I'm putting together a video now about the covid precautions that were taken in Sayulita and San Pancho that I'll share next week.
Sayulita is a beautfiul town; however, it's VERY crowed there with upscale focused tourists and you can barely drive through the town let alone find anywhere to park. Driving a large SUV, I find it impossible to park there unless you get lucky. I prefer the less crowded places near there like San Pancho, Lo de Marcos or even Guanabytos.
How long did you stay in sayulita. And what was your cost of living for there... I'd love to go for a month this winter with my children and we'd love to do surfing and hiking everyday
Love your videos!… Be especially careful with the small towns… So many people making videos now.... someone in the small towns every couple of days , generating more and more traffic.... The precious little ones get ruined so quickly… i know....its a conundrum...best to you....
Love your video. Not to bring down the mood but are people in restaurants and shops wearing masks? Considering traveling with kids and wondering how safe the town feels regarding Covid?
I'm going to be making another video soon about all this. Masks inside shops are mostly required but perhaps not enforced. No masks in restaurants (but that's the case in pretty much everywhere in Mexico once you're inside anyway). Everything in Sayulita is outside for the most part, including tables for restaurants and bars.
Great video. Thanks for the info. Do the tours charge in pesos or dollars? Wondering what is better to take, dollars or pesos? Do the restaurants take card or mostly cash?
In Sayulita it's mostly cash. I would definitely recommend getting your cash before arriving into town because there aren't any real banks to speak of so the ATMs that are around charge quite a lot to get cash out. I got most of my cash our at the Puerto Vallarta airport ATMs. Everyone charges in Pesos.
For me. That I live in the rocky mountains. I prefer natural beauties. without so much human development. All that is good for the human. it hurts nature at one point. Sometimes I dare to go into beautiful areas of the mountains. But I have to get out of the way. sometimes i wonder if i'm selfish? Because when I return. I rearrange the stones and erase my footprints. so that no other human being enters. I feel guilty. But I feel that the trees close one eye in complicity. I hope sayulita. don't fall for the cancun hotel mafias!
You are in a fascinating place, it would have been a much more interesting video if you had shown the town, restaurants, small businesses, etc. instead of filming yourself in close-up talking about it.
Dude, I should’ve been in sayulita 😂 I was kind of rude to Tulum but I’m pretty sure it’s like it literally all sex trafficking or at least the people that I met
It's so weird to see how non vegans can care so much about one species, turtles in this case, and then in the very next video be promoting eating fish tacos. Why do you care about one species but not the other? There seems to be such a disconnect.
looks wonderful...so-so internet is tough, but an online break can be nice
It was definitely a nice break, but just wish it was a better long-term spot!
Can’t wait to visit this beautiful place 💝
I really enjoy your videos. Your full of life and your enjoying life!
It looks so beautiful! Can't wait to travel again!
I highly recommend it! It's so beautiful.

Enjoying the videos tremendously, fyi you are GREAT at this!
Thank you so much! That's really kind of you to say, I appreciate you taking the time to say that.
Laura is a great communicator. She has a way to condense a story like nobody else.
Totes missing it already though. So beautiful. Great video too, that Intro! 😂 And I’m bummed I didn’t see the turtle sanctuary!

Thank you for video looks great
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video. Good info. Are they doing the temperature check thing at restaurants and bars there like in PV? Or is everything more laid back?

Thanks. Planning a trip to Mexico next month. Trying to decide where to go.

Great video. Gotta put Sayulita on my list for sure! You shot some really outstanding video footage there -- What are you using for a camera??
Thanks so much! Everything except the drone shot was done on an iphone!
it is the water that comes from the sewage plant

I met a French Canadian girl 2009 cool memories from sayulita,
Isn’t that where they filmed bachelor in Paradise?
haha yea I guess so! I haven't seen it but that's what several people said when we were there!

Any place is safer than , the US!
maybe be more specific to where these places are, in proximity, cost, etc, for those considering expat life.

are there any apartments for rent there? Prices?

We care, because turtles don’t taste that good 🤪🤪
