Speaking of diversity... good that you invite someone from the post-soviet space / east europe but also please consider the diversity among your guests. most of them are white people from global north. I know that it reflects the current state of the electronic music scene and other industries, but if you want to be on the edge you have to challenge the status quo, unless you are invested in maintaining the reality that benefits you.
I think dividing people into 'queers' and 'non-queers' is a somewhat inaccurate view at the world. If it's about a more colorful expression of life, there are just some for whom it is a bit more buried, and they need help for accessing it. Projecting "non-queerness" onto them makes it harder for them energetically.
Thanks for the I interview ❤ I think the queer community could be less judgey of straight events and “straights” in general. They’re often nice people who just haven’t been converted yet
I agree. It's sorta what has held me back from going to certain events here in the US. Although as a "straight" I understand the contempt as straights haven't always been the most accepting to the queer community.
I don’t get the reference to „straights“. Sounds like people always divide us into what we should identify with. I am a white straight dude, so my perspective might be a little bit limited but one aspect I enjoy at raves is the universal acceptance of each other in what shape color or whatever we all come from. We celebrate our togetherness and leave the devision behind us once we enter the club. We become the crowd. Post covid events are flooded with people who have no respect for rave culture. They don’t want to loose theirselves in the crowd, they want to be the center of the crowd. As much as I can hear myself in her words and her stories, some things don’t sound right to me. For example her doing her HÖR set in a blue avatar body paint. It is mainly to get attention (from others) which is a smart marketing move but doesn’t have much to do with the music itself.

If the hot, dainty blonde girl felt alienated at school, god help the rest of us. 😆
