I'm pleased to see that the supply of the vehicle has been increased and that the infotainment system has been improved. Bidirectional charging is now an essential feature that should be present in all new battery electric vehicles. These are positive developments and a step in the right direction.
It’s completely a new Ford design and Ford build merely sharing the battery platform and odd switch where as VW combustion vehicles like the new Amarok and up-coming new big vans are simply minor bodywork and badge adjustments of the Ford Ranger and Transit vans which are built by Ford at the Ranger and Transit plants then supplied to Vw.
And then...the cheapest possible plastic in the UNIVERS right in the middle of the wheel for you to enjoy EVERYDAY, no thanks, that alone is a turn-off.
@@DrivingElectric hopefully it won’t randomly decide to lock your child in the back seat, while all other occupants are free to leave, or open doors from the outside. Frankly dangerous software.
Seeing the 2 windows buttons just bumped this down my list... Also are those heptic BS buttons on the steering wheel? Please don't get me started on them......
Awful design of wheels like most EV's. Wow a moving info screen. What does that say - its too low in the first instance, all of that space between the bottom of the windscreen and steering wheel can be used to display or design better graphics for Head Up systems - clue there 'Head Up' and looking at the road and not down at Knee level. EV's fail at styling, batteries lift the whole car forcing it to be a SUV and leading to awful front end styling, I could go on...
Too Big Too Expensive Ford are going to lose out to Renault 5 electric & ID. 2all, you don't kill off your small cars are replace it with this size car, and that screen looks nice but sounds cheap and could brake easy

If this gets sold in the US, it would probably be renamed the Ford Edge or Ford Escape?

Glad to see LED lights unlike the Kuga
Miles better indeed but then again that wasn’t hard was it? Price for anything with decent range will be massive.
Turns out it’s not that bad.
This naming of the car is odd to say the least, but doesn't look bad, but it's always a matter of pricing
Good lookig car i might by one or stick withthe hibrid ravp😊😊
I'll have one if it comes to America............Paul
No plans, as it stands. Designed in Europe, for Europe!

It's way too small to have the Explorer name.
To be fair, it's got more in common with the existing Explorer than the Mustang Mach-E does with the old muscle car...

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!
Only two buttons for four windows
Yep, one of the few hangovers from the VW tie-up!

I can't believe that they're now in bed with VW. it's like polishing a turd.
Too Big
