I've been a VW driver for more than 30 years, but I'd take this over an ID.4 or ID.5 every day of the week. The interior is just so far above the ID.4, it's remarkable! I hope the pricing is in line with the VW.

sadly they ford went with capacitive touch buttons on the steering wheel just like VW did.
but yeah. it looks better than the ID4. now let's just hope that they didn't sacrifice range for the better looks.

I agree, but that is much of corporate America now. People are conditioned. I lived in the US for 11 years and it was such a false environment and I felt like I was surrounded by parrots. To clarify what I mean, even if this person doesn't reside or originate in the US, he will be influenced by Ford corporate culture and the way he is instructed to present the car. Maybe I am being unfair to him specifically and was too quick to comment, but it was what I got from the video.

Ford will go extinct in Europe if they continue down this path. Jeep have proven there is limited interested in American looking SUVs in the European market. That said most manufacturers are dumping small cars as they go EV. Sure there are some packaging challenges but it also points to laziness. What’s the point in going EV to be green if the weight and size doubles?!

for an SUV this doesnt look too tall, I am getting ever more convinced that the motor industry is gradually morphing SUVs into estates in the pursuit of efficiency (thankfully because SUVs are disgraceful). according to the specs ive found this is only 150mm or so taller than my volvo V50 estate. with 19" rims and a 3" drop in the suspension (can quite easily see that much arch gap) you'd have yourself a nice looking estate car. by the time i actually get round to getting an EV im sure there will be plenty to choose from that with a little suspension drop i'd be quite happy with something like this.

Nice video thanks. Too quiet though, had to turn way u. In the middle of watching a bunch of videos, this one was really low volume. Until the Black Circles ad, then it blew my head off and I had to turn it right down again. I am not joking, sound at 20% for the Black Circles ad, 80% to hear the voices (when they weren't being drowned by 'background' music).

Quite like the side profile and the back end. Less enthused by the front. The bonnet looks unnecessarily large proportion wise (maybe camera angle?) so I hope they have a front trunk. Need to see it in the metal really. You've very smartly allowed Mr. Demkiw to explain a lot of the car features which I find very helpful for these types of "car launches".
I'd love to get your opinion on this when driving on the road and interacting with the final product. Cheers!

Hi Johhny, would you and your team please take a closer look at your audio balance onwards? I don't know what or how your audio setup on the editing suite is like, but so often your videos are so quiet that in this one, the two you are practically whispering that i have to max the volume everywhere i can.... until the music jumps at you and have to readjust the volume again.. and readjust again when the music's gone. It's a hassle viewing experience, if i'm being honest. Cheers 🍺

Sat in this very car a few hours ago.
    1) On the whole, looks decent. Better than ID3 and Model 3.
    2) Build quality was good inside and out, and this was a pre-prod model.
    3) Dash / MMI seemed to be of a good quality.
    4) Comfy seats. Though vegan "leather" would be better in fabrics.
    5) Seemed at least as big as a Mac-E with regards to useful space.
    6) Couldn't open boot or frunk. They said the frunk was very small which seems at odds with the very massive front-end.
    Overall, quite a decent efort.

I want to congratulate you on the way you allow the client / host to speak and you inject a slight tempter to stimulate their expression and conversation. This one would have been tough for a PR frontman. It was clear your profession journalistic background and years of road testing was a simpler more absorbable language for the masses. I have watched a heap of tubers on this Exploroer launch but yours is the most evocative. 🤜🤛

Dear Ford - you may have lights but Haptic buttones are still not real buttons! And they don't need lighting if you design them properly so they can be identified without taking eyes odd the road.

Something I don't understand: The designer talk at length about the shape of the front end, and how hard the worked to lower the first point of contact with the air to help the aerodynamics. So far so good. But then they put it on stilts making that first point of contact a good six inches higher than it should be. Just imagine if it was a regular hatchback or estate, it would be a thousand times better.

Too small, low luggage capacity, low range, excessive charging time, too expensive for the real world... finally, you'll never get 200K miles out of it or over 10 years before it's valueless!
    How about a Diesel-Electric hybrid?
