They're fighting over the book. The fire changes color to show who has the book next. All done without words, just vocals and facial expressions. Genius!😊
This is the second one in these costumes. First was The Hall of the Mountain King. This set is from Layne and Tonys PattyCake Productions The Villains Lair. The moon in the background is donated from Geoffs Halloween cover of Jack's Lament.
This is a sequel to last year's Hall of the Mountain King. The same four characters, but with a different female guest. That was the first one they did with no words at all. I think this is a fun way to introduce some classical music to people who might never otherwise hear it.
It's real skill to sing classical songs without words. This is Layne's arrangement. They truly are unique. Not liking something is perfectly fine, but as you said, one has to give kudos to the sheer work and skill that went into making this. 🌹🕊
"Valhalla Calling." But I love this one too. It's just mysterious and joyous. You see something new every time. Just one viewing is not even close to enough. 💙
It doesn't sound like you have reacted to In The Hall of The Mountain King which was done a couple years ago with Elizabeth Garozzo. It was on the final screen at the end. I absolutely love these 2 videos and probably part of that is that I was in concert band and played most of these on the list. I never once ever thought about the setup that VoicePlay did with these. I actually think they should be rewarded by judges who do acapella work. Layne was the project manager for this and it is incredible.
Picking one favourite cover by #voiceplay is difficult but my favs are Queen in 5 mins Medley Boyband medley Tennesse Whiskey Daddy Sang Bass - cute video that includes their families Friends on the other side This is Halloween Kidnap the Sandy Claus Edit to add how could i miss Carry on my wayward son
Boo!! 10/10! What an incredible arrangement and performance by VP! The Grundels are my favorite! Singing, acting, set, arrangement and costume was epic! Thanks for reacting to it and giving your honest opinion.
This is a sequel to In the Hall of the Mountain King. ❤ I don’t think I can pick a favorite cover from these guys. It’s just too difficult with so many amazing ones 😂 Maybe The Little Mermaid Medley?
Every song can't be for everyone and shouldn't be otherwise what's the point of genres and styles? As a classical freak I love this and "The Hall of the Mountain King "they did last year, little peeks into the insane (nightmarish?) classical part of Layne's mind. I have a few favorites VP covers the top two may be (given the day and my mood) " Heart of Life" and "The Bones" they did after one of their founding members retired, they hit me emotionally more than some others, "The ACA Top Tens" are always at the top too and what ever they come out with next probably. I love their theatrical/experimental pieces but I also love their straight a Capella ... something for everyone.
I love how they steal the book and make spells while Rachel scolds them trying to get the book back. She gets more and more frustrated with their shenanigan's till she loses it altogether.
I'll be the first to admit - while I recognized all of the songs that VoicePlay did in this, my first introduction to many of them was through watching Loony Toons cartoons!
When it comes to Voice Play you realy have to think about the story they are telling by their actions. It's all about the spell book that Rachel is in charge of but one by one the boys keep getting steeling it & using a spell. At the end Rachel has the last page of the book that was torn out but she had it hidden in her dress & she had the last word when she made them all disappeare. Only Voice Play can take music that hasn't any words & tell a story with just their voices, make-up & costumes & background & props. They are the masters of Halloween.
It takes some balls to do Acapella with no lyrics. 😂 I really had fun with this one! So much creativity and I especially loved what they did with Für Elise. You don't deserve hate just because you don't know what to do with this. 😂 It's all good! ❤
@@highlyreactivereactionsVoice Play love to tell a story with music that hasn't any words as in this one. The story they were telling in this one was a little hard to follow I admit. When it comes to Voice Play s theatrical side you will get better at following along with the story. At the beginning & end when they showed the words you really had to stop the video to read them & it would have given you a better idea as to what was going on. Only a few reactors did that .
Reminds me of the epic 1940 Disney movie, Fantasia. Absolutely love it.

They also did the theme from Halo, which is an instrumental piece.

If you haven’t watched their Hall of the Mountain King you should it’s the prequel to this
I plan to listen to it at least a dozen times in the next few days alone. Goes on the playlist!

Eleanor Rigby is really awesome if you haven’t reacted to their version yet. #VoicePlay
research should be done to make a more accurate analysis
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated 👏
