My zone is rough for late planting dates because our weather is not constant and wet in the spring... very wet.

Yes that is what we do. we try to have our wheat planted by Nov 10th. each year
Farmer MD November 10th is under 3 inches of snow here usually. When are soybeans at the right dryness to harvest? I heard October.
