In my case, I disconnected the car battery and left it overnight then in the next day I reconnected the battery and the system got temporarily reset. After that, I was able to open the trunk with the button. I hope it'll work for you too.

You may need the scanning computer tool. I suggest you try to disconnect and reconnect the battery for a few times. It worked for me.
