Nice chilled out video Dave 🎥 great pitch with stunning views 👌 I'm liking the Nordic socks combined with the Montane down booties, I'm sure they kept you toastie warm, as the wind would cut you in half lately 🥶 atb Brian 👍
Any advise for me…… so humble mate. Great film that most of us are watching to learn from 😊 bought one of your bluetooth thermometers for our next camp 👍🏼
Don't know about you Dave but as I get older I get almost as much pleasure pouring over maps trying to find the perfect wild camp as I do actually camping - but not quite!! Inspiring as ever, thank you.
Jeez Dave squeezing through that crevice taking your rucksack up & over your head, I was ‘bottling’ it; and having to come back to pick us up again, wow! And the a glutton for punisment doing it all again on the way back! Great views there and topped off with the Drone footage made for an amazing experience an camp! Thanks for that Dave take care now! ⛺️👣🎮🛸☕️☕️🦉👍😎
Another class video, your joy in them is clear to see. Definitely my favourite youtuber now. And my wife's, I daren't watch your videos until we can watch together!
Yessssiiiii Mr Solo Pussycat! Quality video as always. The Langdales, by far my favourite spot in the Lakes.. simply stunning! Heading back there to tackle a wainwright or 5 followed by a wild camp in a couple of week! Keep been you pussycat, every video just gets better and better. I remember doing fat man’s agony and camping not far from yourself, love the view of Blea tarn from there! Loved the vid as always. Keep been you. Yesssiiii Mr solo summiteer
Just watched the last two videos, a bit of catch up, both of them where tremendous Dave, great scenery great footage, just love watching your videos, tremendous job Dave 👍👍
Some really good weather got to take advantage. Drone shots are amazing. “Brew with a view” is a now a phrase I use 😀. Love the langdales. All those cars parked up. Bet Stickle Barn was busy! Take care. Loved the route up Side pike. Clearly you are now famous 👏
Cheers Colin 🙏🏻Haha. Famous 😁. I do get recognised a lot in the lakes and it’s lovely to meet people who watch my videos and chat with them. Couldn’t believe when I got recognised in Aviemore and on the summit of Ben Macdui. People are lovely tho and it’s very much appreciated 🙏🏻
I see what you meant now in the msg Dave 😉😂 What a lovely summit it is though & those views of the langdales etc are stunning aren't they.. I'll be back up there for a summer camp maybe a bivvy me thinks..Great stuff as always pal tfs..Andy.

You only went back to the squeeze a 2nd time to show off 😂! Another cracking video mate, glad you still managed to find the enjoyment without being up on the tops! All the best, Ross
Even though you said, it's quite an easy one ,you still learned something from it . That says it all Dave, every days a learning day ,but what a place to be learning in. Superb. ATB Dave and ......keep 'em coming.😊
Absolutely Michael. Get out there, experience and learn. I’ve learned loads this winter in some pretty bad conditions. Keep getting out. Keep learning 👍
You did well to find a window in the weather - here in Scotland we've gone from full spring warmth 2 weeks ago to heavy snow and rain on hills for 4 days and forecaste of same for another 4 days. I may be forced to follow your lead - and find a doable local hill and enjoy. 💪. Very attractive scenary and no nonsense uk wild places narration and hand held by the way - but was disapponted your camera gear didn't trap you in that fat mans squeeze! 😉 keep posting.
I've recently come across your channel and really enjoy the videos, I used to walk in the Lakes every month from Derbyshire before moving to Norfolk. Really great to see all my favourite fells again, can't wait for May when I'll be back for a holiday. Will definitely be climbing the Langdales. Keep up the good work.
Another great video Dave. Beautiful scenery as always in the Lakes.(Especially when you have clear weather!) I loved it Especially the "Fat Climbers" tight spot!! Thi k I'd be OK these days, but like yourself would need to take the rucksack off!!😅. Keep em coming I love your videos! Mike
Nice one, Dave. Thank you. Loved that drone footage. Hoping to be coming up to the Langdale Pikes for the first time from Borrowdale direction next week. Hope weather holds 🏕
Hi Dave. Great footage as always thanks for sharing. Couldn’t agree more one of the best things about wildcamping is that you are constantly learning. Keeps things interesting. I’ve heard you say on a few videos that you don’t get much kip. I’m the same. Struggle to believe the folks that claim to get 12 hours a night ! Hoping to head out end of week again myself. Clear the head. Cheers gary
Like the videography. Bit of drone. Bit of time-lapse. Bit of walking away from the mounted camera. Love the drone shot over your shoulder that then circles. Good sense of the place.
I always enjoy your videos Dave so thanks very much and keep making them. I have never been to the Langdales so need to put that right this year: what views!
Great video and great pitch, done the langdales last Thursday it was so warm manged to do jacks rake 💩my pants mind. Wish I'd took my tent and stayed as we only passed a few people up there. Loved all the scrambles on harrison stickle and pike o stickle. Atb 👍
Again , thank you for sharing those fantastic views. I miss the lakes , langdale is absolutely amazing I can only get there occasionally, as I live in North Essex. And any decent utuber which films there , makes me smile. The scenery is beautiful, look forward to next one All the best , j
Hi Dave!! 👋🏻 Fantastic watch as always buddy just what I needed before im off to work till midnight... Saw your thumbnail and thought im gonna have to give this route a go, but then saw the 'fat mans alley' lol, dont think id be able to lift even my day pack atm with my shoulder so ill save that untill later in the year I think. I could do the route round like you said but ill feel like im missing the fun haha. Absolutely bangin pitch that though Dave, even if you were on a slope, the views were amazing!! Always love your videos so much... cant wait to be back out in the tent. Although im off next week so will be driving to the Lakes at some point even for a day hike big or small. Hope you manage to get out mate and even just been amongst the mountains will make me so happy... I have a few little routes in mind. Think I might go pitch hunting haha. Take it easy mate 🙏🏼👍🏻😊💪🏼 Chris
Yeah. I’m not messing about. Summit camp planned. Just need to see if I’m up to it 🤷♂️. I was feeling quite fit before I got struck down again so hopefully will be back at it soon enough. Pitch hunting is a great idea. Good luck, man👍
Lovely video again Dave. Thanks for taking time filming ‘fat man’s agony’ going in and out. You must have been there half an hour! Nice shots with the drone as usual and well done for posing apparent without showing that you were holding the controller. Mind you I suppose you can put the controller down when you do the automatic circle or helix. Have you tried woollen fingerless mitts to keep your hands warm? Stay safe and happy.
Another great one Dave. Wasn’t expecting anything from you for a while with you having covid again so it was a nice surprise. Great to see you out as always 👍😊
Cracking watch as always. I was up at the other end of the Langdales on Saturday on Rossett Pike and Allen Crags. Just walking not camping!! I leave the hard stuff to you and just enjoy watching. Regarding the phone screen, have you tried touch screen gloves? I use a Berghaus pair which do the job. Obviously not super thermal but keep the chill off. Keep up the good work.

Amazing views again been through on my bike but really need to walk and camp the area with my dogs. I do get apprehension though of a new place area and parking. But usually it works out OK. The low level for me is still good but the squeeze for me would poss be too much there. I'm sure they are other routes when I check out the map. Thanks Ade

You said nice and easy, then I watched you go through Fat Man's Agony carrying a bag! Love the effort it must take to film from both directions. What will you do in the summer when it gets a lot busier up there?
Dave you've a new catch phrase (tidied it up a bit for ya lol ).. you know what I say .. "BETTER LOW THAN NO"... :) I'll take half the royalties lol don't worry I won't sue you if you do :) ☘️
Just have a question about your Gopro. What colour profile do you use, what resolution you shoot in and do you do any colour grading? Really thinking about buying one. Thanks
Alright Dave, they look a little like lenticular clouds. Where do you park for overnight parking in Langdale? I usually walk over to the fells from Seathwaite, which is a bit of a trek. Thought about Old Dungeon Ghyll, but it says no overnight parking… cheers mate
You shouldn't be so tough on yourself Sir! Low camp/high camp...does it matter? Does it eckerslike 😀 How many different ways are there of saying; "yet another brilliant video."?
Appreciate that Steve but I’m ok at the moment. Got a lot of “stuff” going on in the next few months so don’t no know how much I’ll be able to get out, unfortunately.

"BETTER LOW THAN NO"... :) I'll take half the royalties lol don't worry I won't sue you if you do :) ☘️
Haha. I like that 😁👍
Bit of a random question pal but what is your favourite mountain to climb and camp on? Great video aswell. 👍
Cheers Matt. It’s probably the Scafell range 🏔😎👍
Just have a question about your Gopro. What colour profile do you use, what resolution you shoot in and do you do any colour grading? Really thinking about buying one. Thanks
Hi Martin. I just use the standard profile at 1080. I do a bit of colour grading in iMovie but not much. Cheers 👍
Mammatus clouds I think 🤔 xXx
Alright Dave, they look a little like lenticular clouds. Where do you park for overnight parking in Langdale? I usually walk over to the fells from Seathwaite, which is a bit of a trek. Thought about Old Dungeon Ghyll, but it says no overnight parking… cheers mate
Cheers Simon🙏🏻. Aye it’s a trek from Seathwaite. I park at ODG 😁
@@TheSoloSummiteer cheers my man. Hoping to see the little Soloist soon when the weather is a little less dramatic!
@@Thebluedocful you see it next Monday looking better than ever ⛰⛺️😎
Do you never bother with trekking poles mate?
Yeah. Use them regularly.
You shouldn't be so tough on yourself Sir! Low camp/high camp...does it matter? Does it eckerslike 😀 How many different ways are there of saying; "yet another brilliant video."?
Much appreciated Bob 🙏🏻

Want any company on one of your walks Dave?
Appreciate that Steve but I’m ok at the moment. Got a lot of “stuff” going on in the next few months so don’t no know how much I’ll be able to get out, unfortunately.
