Thanks for your observations! We just bought an Aussiedoodle puppy a week ago at 12 weeks old. He was really the most perfect dog at first, but then he got comfortable, lol. He hasn't really shown the nipping which I'm thankful for, but he is very much into biting. Of course I figured that's just commonplace for a puppy. We've been trying to work on ways to discourage the biting. I've found that Gary has 2 modes: on and off. Lol. When he is on he is very energetic and loves to bite. I have found that when he likes to put his front paws on wherever I'm sitting and try to bite at me, I used to constantly tell him "No" and "Down" and push him away. But I have learned in our short week that by pushing him away from me he seems to think I'm playing. So if I just give the commands but keep my hands up out of reach then he will understand I don't want him up there. Just my little 2 cents. Thanks for your video!!
Ahh great observations too!! And yes, they can be a bit bite-y for a stage, but I assure you the energy and biting will dwindle down as they get older!
@@JaxontheAussiedoodle ok we are going through that right now with our mini Aussiedoodle, Little Foot. He’s around 9 weeks old and he’s been with us almost a week now.
Getting my Aussiedoodle this weekend!!!! I was so worried about this stage in his developement. Thanks for making this video. Thumbs up from me!

my aussie doodle bites me ALL THE TIME! At the beach he charged at me and bit a hole in my shirt lol
Stand your ground!!! Lol
Did Jaxon “charge” at you when biting/nipping at your legs/feet?
He did! Part of his herding instinct haha. Was a bit scary at times not going to lie haha

How you get a companion dog out of Aussiedoodle

In a nutshell, a lot of training, patience, positive reinforcement, and consistency! Jaxon isn’t perfect, but life with him is awesome :)
