I've never heard of you, and by looking at your video content it makes sense, you have very little Nintendo content on your channel. You do have a ton of subscribers so it's good marketing for them. But good for you, you are still very lucky to meet the man! Must have been a great experience!

After seeing this, it makes me think if due to the adventuring and freedom, maybe XenobladeX was testing the waters to see what to do with the new Zelda, with the delay and such.
It's a lot easier to get a translation in your head running, where you hear the language and change it to your native, than it is to also take your native language and change it when you speak. Especially since Japan didn't make English mandatory until the last few decades, making anyone older than that transition pretty screwed since learning a new language is much more difficult to keep as you age.
Yes Miyamoto has a pretty good understanding of English (his father was an English teacher) but it's much easier for Japanese to speak their native language than it is to speak English. English is actually a very hard language for foreigners to learn
Only the English pronunciation can be tough. Grammar is actually really, really easy. I'm saying this as someone who has Portuguese as a native language :)
