Your video popped up in my feed today and was anxious to check it out because I have been listening to French RUclipsrs for the last 6 years or so to improve my listening comprehension. I was surprised that we listen to so many of the same people - especially Laura Moonzi! I have been following her for years! I also like the videos of Laurent Caccia. He lives in South Korea and is married to a Korean woman (and they recently had a baby), but prior to that he did a lot of travelling. He’s interesting and speaks fast but clearly. Thanks and bon courage avec votre apprentissage du français!
Thanks for your comment and the recommendation, I just checked him out! Je n’ai regardé qu’une seule de ses vidéos et j’ai déjà envie d’aller en Corée XD
great video thanks for this, im an American born Cameroonian now based in French speaking Cameroon so I really try to improve my French online as well as In person so this helps
girrrrrrrl , you should've seen my face when that girl said "this video will be..." in the most clear no-accent English ; I thought she was French at first from them first few sentences
Thank you for this. Will check out the ones I don’t know. Just to add, Jean-Baptiste. Expatlang is amazing. Speaks pretty quickly, explains, subtitles and interesting varied topics.
i would like to argue that sami's videos could keep a beginner engaged for long periods of time because half the video is english. At least for me, being able to understand what is going on at all times while he speaks french is very helpful and is a more passive form of learning.
Girl you’re awesome, I’ve been studying for almost 2 years now so I’ve got a good grasp of vocabulary but listening is my hardest thing so having a list of some channels that would be good for learning while just ingesting normal content is just refreshing. Thank you!
I’m French so I don’t know why I’m watching this but anyway I approve this selection lol (especially Dairing Tia and Sami Ouladitto ahah) I can also recommend Sagiiovanna, Seb la frite and Jonathan CLNT !
Thank you sooo much! It's a great video! Could you make/do you have a video about your best tips for learning french or other languages? That would be great!
Idk if I stumbled on this video in the past, or if i found them all on my own, but I watch all the beginner channels whenever I'm doing French listening, lol 😂 They are really, really good 💖 I usually listen without subtitles, even though I don't understand everything yet. I guess it's more realistic that way - there wouldn't be subtitles in real life, lol. A Piece of French and French Mornings are my favorites of the 4 channels, esp A Piece of French. All 4 channels are definitely must haves for French listening, and they give helpful tips, slang, differentiating between similar words, great french learning sites to try, etc. Great learning tools 💖
I am not watching because i understand ,but because i want to understand. if i expose myself to french for a long time ,i can learn to understand it .(that is how i learned english) (thanks very useful 🐢🐢)
Im in the middle of A1, still struggling with numbers, but i’m looking for youtuber or any french media so i get more exposure to the language😊 the only french learning youtube i watched is Alexa hahah thank you for the suggestion!
What I really need is a Channel that has the official French subtitles since it is really difficult to find movies and vids with the precise synced ones as in English.
Many of the beginner channels I mentioned take the time to upload accurate subtitles, but it’s less likely for channels that aren’t gear towards learners
How long did it take you to get to intermediate…then to advanced listening comprehension. I’m stuck at the level of the beginner channels (the ones you mentioned have been my favorites as well). I listen about an hour a day.
I'd say it took me 3-4 months of listening to French podcasts to get to an intermediate level of listening comprehension. However, I would definitely say I'm still in between the intermediate and advanced levels. I recommend utilizing .75x speed and subtitles when available, but with consistency, you'll be understanding advanced French in no time!
I really need recommendations for French gamers who are similar to CoryxKenshin, The Jess Life, Justin Wong, or Tetra Ninja because... 😭 Also this video popped up randomly and I just subbed to you! 🤗❤️ Thanks for the recommendations--French beginner here!
There are a lot of French streamers, unfortunately they may speak really fast for someone who doesn’t speak French 😕 however, I can recommend Etoiles (which means star ⭐️) who is a French streamer and maybe he speaks slower than the other (and there are some videos where he plays with Americans such as Ludwig and stuff so maybe you can check them out on RUclips first haha, you will see his BeAuTiFuL English accent 😝)

Thanks for the sub!! Unfortunately I have no recommendations as for gaming channels but hopefully someone in the comments can recommend some 👀
