Two Pound Tuesday ~ £2 coin hunt - a few finds

Due to a storm in england, the Sunday car boot is cancelled AGAIN
So i did a last minute small £2 coin hunt and this will be the first of many now
Look out also for upcoming Fifty Pence Friday

Got to love a good hunt.. 50p, £2 or even 20p's looking for the that illusive undated 2008. Hunts can become addictive, that's why I also do world coin hunts.

Got to say it's only fun if you find anything, and there has been plenty times when I've found very little! 😁 The only definitive NIFC's are the Britannias from 2017, 18, 19, and 20, and then we only know that the 2023 £2 will not have any mintage, so you can only get it in the Privy Marked Annual set. All Commemorative NIFC's tend to start at 2017, but there are a few earlier years where a different coin was minted for collector sets e.g. The Abolition of the Slave Trade with the smooth inner section with designer' initials, and the 2015 Magna Carta and WW1 Navy with the IRB portrait of QEII on the obverse. Also remember to check all coins for rotations, and that they have the correct edge inscription, plus the 2010 Technology sometimes has been doubled stamped on the obverse edge lettering and IRB initials (known as a Double Die Obverse error or DDO for short). ..the first coin u looked at was lord Kitchener..check to see if it says two pounds on the head side..if it doesn't then u have found the ' mule error' worth about £500.00

yeah i know on the video i didn’t say his name but i knew that was the name - i think my editing skills failed slightly that day 🤪
