You have the right to protest, you can choose to protest against genocide or with a State committing genocide.

this is obscenely biased coverage of the protests. you interview racist Israeli protestors who intentionally misconstrue the protest only. being against the slaughter of palestinians is not anti-semitic. the "fear" of jewish students there is ridiculous. there are literally jewish people protesting against netanyahu's racist, right-wing govt but you don't interview them conveniently. the tone of the "reporter" when discussing both groups showed a clear bias. going on and on about this ridiculous lawsuit by israelis claiming harassment highlights the bias. RIDICULOUS. go interview the protestors. why won't you interview jewish protestors asking for divestment? WHY?
I thought I had an understanding of how absolutely slanted the media was but THIS incident, the difference between these protests and their coverage is actually driving me crazy. Its like every news organization picking at crumbs to try to prove that there is some anti-semetic relation to these demonstrations. They've been milking this story over the last two days about an Israeli student who was "stabbed" in the eye by a flag and then when the video comes out its literally just a plastic stick brushing against her face. They made it seem as if someone came up to her and attacked her.
People are certainly getting wise to the MSM tactics. These student PATRIOTS are literally changing the narrative.
Because it doesn't suit their interests.

The U.S. Congress, especially the Republicans have targeted education. They've already gotten a few college presidents removed. They want to replace them all with "Conservative", like Trump stacked the Supreme Court. I'm old enough to remember Vietnam War protests, which were more violent than any of these protests have been.
Since Oct 7, how many ppl from the Isreali government or pro-Isreal Jewish Americans have been interviewed by US Maintream Media and how many Palestinian officials have been brought to the screen of US MSM (it's not like they don't want to) ? None of the West Media has reported from the field in Gaza with the only very recent exception of Clarissa Ward from CNN. Only Al-Jeezera has been brining first-hand info from Gaza, which contradicts to a lot of info indoctrinated by the Isreali government and West Media. The bias has been ongoing for decades!

Egypt used to control Gaza. Some would say that they were not unhappy that Israel took control after the Six Day War in 1967. Egypt never let the Palestinians become Egyptians, they built a wall that Trump would envy to keep the Palestinians in Gaza, and they actively hunt down any Palestinian militants who sneak into Egypt. This is why not a single rocket is launched by Hamas into Israel from Egypt although they would love to do so. Even during this war between Hamas and Israel, Egypt refuses to let Palestinian refugees into Egypt. The truth is that surrounding Arab countries may give lip service of supporting Palestinians, but they don't think very much of them in reality. One of the reasons for this is that the Palestinians themselves are not really united. There are four main tribes of Palestine, and they are killing each other on and off. The only reason they aren't killing each other more constantly is because of their common hatred of Israel. They have never really been able to unify because each tribe doesn't want the others to have significant power in a Palestine state. So when you say you support Palestine, you really have to choose one of the four main tribes, and the tribe of Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization by most of the world.

@@yanabrailovsky44 Gaza does not equal Hamas. Furthermore, I listened to 2 British medics who had worked in a hospital in Gaza for several years and whose hospital was destroyed by Israel recently. They said there were absolutely no tunnels underneath the hospital and they never encountered members of Hamas in the area they lived and worked in.

Where is the balanced coverage from the Pro-Palestinian students? Where is the journalistic integrity? All this report did was include sound bites from pro-Netanyahu counter protestors saying the Pro-Palestine movement hates Jews, which is not true. There is a difference between the Jewish people and Netanyahu's government. I love the US, but I don't always love my gov's policies. For example, I strongly opposed Bush's war in Iraq. I can love the Jewish people and not love Israel's ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. I support the Pro-Palestine movement, but I will always oppose anti-semitism AND media manipulation. I must say from the outset, I admire students and faculty protesting against despicable Israeli crimes in Gaza and unwavering US support for the criminals.
However, these protests will not halt Israeli crimes, or the fact that the US aids and abets the criminals. In the age of cell phones (that everyone has) working as cameras and internet spreading the footage all over the world, these protests serve a different purpose. The footage of their brutal suppression across campuses in various states reveals the true colors of the American “democracy”. No regime existing today that the US officials label “dictatorship” treats its populace in such an arrogantly brutal way. The masks are off, and that’s what these protests achieved.
