Those flamingos are "diamond painting", a modern craft that has become very popular over the past 5 years. Each "square" is applied individually with glue onto a pre-printed canvas. Even though it is modern, you cannot beat it for $3, a great deal.
It's wild to me that even the most ghetto flea markets I've been to (mostly in my Homestate of Florida) , the wares would still be displayed on a blanket, towels, or cardboard boxes. I've never seen stuff just sitting in the dirt or sand! To be fair, most of my best treasures were found in these back perimeter areas, but I didn't have to blow sand out of the crevices!
Cool jewelry, Jeffery! But some days are like that, you're tired, not in the mood, too cold or hot, crabby...and the next time, you're rarin' to go, and the flea market or whatever doesn't really have much. Or everything! But youre short on funds, things are too expensive...!! Drat!! Always, the thrill of the hunt. Thanks, and pats for Stella! ❤️
"guess they got bored with the baskets", "stop it wind you're too dumb", "Yeah, I got some jewels"....... always fun and my treat before I head to post office.
up here in Canada we are forecasted for another snowfall in the cruellest month of March/April - I never expect to hear of people being cold in Florida....that seems even crueller than our usual "spring"...lovely finds today...take care Jeffrey
The Peewee Herman and Mr T plates would be great white elephant gifts and I can't believe the guy had his stuff sitting in dirt use a tarp or a blanket for goodness sakes! Thanks Jeffrey 🦩🐕 kisses to Stella
the flamingo picture is what is called diamond dot painting ......picture is done by putting beads on the canvas which is covered with glue . it's something I love doing.
I won’t keep saying it but, thank you for showing what you bought!! And bring more money ;) I wish you could live stream while you are shopping so we can ask about certain items-just a thought. Thanks again
My Mom had the ceramic tree with the large birds on it. Her's was white with white birds and then you put candles in the birds. Most often we put red because red and white was a huge thing in the 60's/70's.
When I seen that lizard pen, it reminded me of the carnival. when that was one of the prizes, a real lizard with a little rope around his leg and a safety pin to pin it on your blouse lol.The good old days .
Peewee and Mr T on Teacup saucers?!?! Too funny. Gave me lots of ideas of what to do with my random assortment of vintage dishes. Great choice to pass on the diamond art Flamingo. They are not vintage and I totally get wanting to limit your collection and not pick up everything Flamingo. You are defining your collection and giving it boundaries. Oh great jewelry too! The genie pot brooch was really nice!
Diamond Dots Flamingo picture. Very recent crafty thing to do. I have a friend that made a nice Christmas Door Hanger from one that she finished. Very tedious work.
That Carlton dish was lovely and so was the Wedgwood dipped jug, even with the chip out of it. It is unique because of the portraits as part of its design. The beautiful green covered round box with the flowers next to the majolica is probably Moorcroft and very collectible. Wonder what the prices were on all those pieces?
I do you think you are right about the Peewee Herman plate - perfect gift for anyone! It was certainly weird! The blue and white plate next to it was a plate by Arabia, Finland and would have been a good buy (depending on the price, of course!) It was in the Valencia pattern by Ulla Procope and sells in the $30-60 range for a luncheon plate. I would have been interested!
Oh I hear Sandhills cranes!! Miss them… had a mating pair that would visit my yard daily in FL… now I’m in WA state… had no idea they come all the way to Alaska to breed… crazy…
I enjoyed seeing what you showed, but that wasn't the typical flea market that we use to have. I miss those where just the normal everyday household would bring their items they just wanted to get rid of.
Jeffrey gooing incognito: waring a dark hoody and sunglasses lol Grate brooches. Ive been looking for a simple bow one for so long(in siler/silvertone) and a simple leafbrooch Love that big brooch you found best out of your picks. Start Track vibes for shure I love that tilt pitcher with icelip. Hope to score one here Send us some sunshine, we would love some X
Love the shopping videos and this channel, but when are you going to put out a vlog on your other channel? I am going through daily Jeffrey vlogs withdrawal 😂.
Sweetie, why would you shop with just a few $$$'s? Think of all the money you will not make from some of those great finds. Btw, you need one of those overhead suitcases with a big grocery bag on top for shopping. You can even put a couple of boxes in the bag and pack a little bubble wrap for delicates.
None of theseRUclips resellers ever have a " bag, cart, crate". ...they just stuff 2 or 3 little cheap items in a free hand and sell for big bucks 2 weeks later....lol
@Linda schrier alas, not true. Several of them use carts. One even has one of those large, wagon- like canvas carts. He goes to flea markets in the Bay Area. I have lived in Florida and small suitcase with pop-up handles would be a great asset instead of juggling everything.
Why don’t you ever have anything positive to say? Why do you watch when it seems every video annoys you? I’m really not trying to be rude, I’m actually really curious.
@@LindaKayHolevas there’s nothing positive to say. These RUclipsrs revealing all the good places have ruined reselling for those people who didn’t just pop up here, for the people who have been doing this for years and don’t make money from videos! Do you get it now? Or do I need to explain it better? Just like the idiots who destroyed the bins for everyone. Only complete morons reveal where they source from. It’s stupid. Of course people like this guy don’t care because they are making money on videos unlike actual hard working resellers. Not that I owe you any explanation Karen.
I Live Only like 10 Minutes from that Market yet I mainly get carried away buying all the fresh vegetables and fruit there, and lose focus for finding treasures, lol
When I was in high school I stopped in my father’s drug store at the soda fountain. I had a friend with me. My Dad gave me a quarter and I bought myself a large lime coke and a large bowl of ice cream for my friend. There was no tax on food. The total for those two items was exactly 25 cents. Some things just stick with you. The flamingo piece is very recent but worth more than the mere $3 you paid for it. I think it’s cute.
I worked at a Rexall soda fountain when I was in high school (in the early 80’s). I remember a cup of coffee with a donut was 50 cents & a hot fudge sundae was 99 cents. I had so much fun working there, in fact, I believe I created the first “blizzard”. I’d let customers pick out a candy bar such as Reese’s Peanut Butter cup or Snickers & I’d blend them in the milkshake machine with their choice of ice cream. I called them “candy bar milkshakes” (I know, super original, lol). If only I had known that they would be become so popular years from then I would’ve trademarked them! 😊
Your always fun to watch but I have a question. Why would you head to a flea market with only $12 to spend? All the years I’ve been flea shopping I always bring a couple hundred dollars because you never know when you will find that must have treasure. Just wondering
Enjoyed touring with you. Look'en sharp, Jeffery in your hoody and glasses 😎
I really enjoy watching you. Your videos make me smile. Enjoy!!!
That's a great beginning with the Pee Wee Herman plate perfect gift for almost anybody laughing 😅 😀 😂

I live in south Florida. Enjoy these cooler days while they are here because the summers are hot hot hot. 🌞🌴
True, but when I went out Monday morning here in Ft Lauderdale I was freezing too, even in my winter coat with the hood up!

Pee wee Herman plate lol. You have me on the hunt for a lady head vase since I saw you get that on at the estate sale. It's cold in Illinois, too .
That tree with the birds fantastic.

Thanks for taking me shopping!! Missing your Jeffrey channel and Stella its my fave. Hope it gets warmer for you.

You should get a shopping cart for trips to flea markets. They sure come in handy.

I love how you educate us! Thank you! 😊

I collect the string holder, when you passed on the cat ones I almost had a heart attack!
