    My husband received a fleece hat as a gift many years ago that he uses while running in the winter and we've been trying to find another one just like it to no avail. I decided I would sew one for him, but before I started I thought I'd try to see if there was a similar pattern online. Well, you took the guess-work away from my project! This is exactly the way his hat was constructed! I love the shape and simplicity of it. Can't wait to get started! Caroline, thank you for this video with very clear instructions!

    • @kristinecarlson9074
      @kristinecarlson9074 Год назад +1

      @@ellellbee-I would guess that you would have the width be equal to the circumference of an average preschooler’s head and reduce the height. Similarity if you would size for a school aged child.

    I just was gifted a Singer & am just beginning to learn how to sew. The 1st thing I wanted to make was..a fleece hat & so I went to RUclips & watched your tutorial like 5 times before I felt confidant enough to try it.
    I am very happy with the hat I made using Black Fleece & so a BIG Thank You.

Thank you so much for sharing. Isn't it nice when RUclips will shelve videos for viewing throughout the years, otherwise, I would not have found this one. Thanks again!!!

    This is a very good sewing pattern for a warm hat. I made more than 15 hats for Christmas gifts. It's a gift that "keeps on giving." Fits various head sizes, quick to make, easy, economical to send in the mail. Best of all, it was well received! Have plans to make more. Great pattern, and video. Thank you!
