What is the purpose of the last friction plate being rotated 1 notch in the basket from the rest? You mention this twice in the video, so it must be important.
BP....got a clutch problem .... I THINK. first time replacing a clutch rings steel and fiber. got an 07 Ninja ZX6R. my initial problem was the head of the clutch rod wore out due to the actuator spring being broken. now everthing is out back together, i did a dry fit to see if the rod/actuator would open (clutched). However nothing is moving and it seems likes it stuck. do i need to add the oil
On a Z1000 2006, the pressure plate has a dot marked on it, you have to aline it to the inner basket, notice here he took off the pressure plate and just put it back on any way as long as the castellations met, also he fitted a metal plate first, again on my Z1000 its a friction plate first! surely all Kawasaki clutches would be the same? And like everyone else what does this cushion kit do? Just looks like a spacer to me!

@@BrockDavidson Tell me please. I also have a vibration when starting in 1st gear. I changed the gear shift rod to a reinforced one from the 2010 version. I forgot what it was like before. BUT now there is a vibration when starting from a stop in the first gear.
04 05 zx10r doesn't have the flat washer and the concave washer .They got the double sided steel. Do I need to eliminate the double sided steel plate and get the flat and concaved washers?
If you are having issues with your stock 04/05 - look at the condition of the inner and outer hubs. We have had good luck with the spring plate in the past.
That depends on the bike. We make clutch mods to remove or disable the slipper that causes the chatter: brocksperformance.com/clutch-components/clutch-mods/ (use the shop by bike option) - if you already have a mod, you might have a worn out clutch basket: ruclips.net/video/_YFqq5kI-fw/видео.html
With our cushion kit installed, yes. In the stock application, the judder spring and washer are typically inserted into the second fiber back (in has a larger hole in the center). Consult the service manual for your make/model.

To make room the the cushion. We increase the spring pressure to compensate for the 10% reduction in friction created by removing the plate (+ even more). This makes for an incredibly smooth launch that can still take BIG power: bit.ly/368DpZO

Do you Recommend using a cushion kit or just the heavy duty springs plus the clutch mod for the 2020 zx10r?
The cushion is for extreem use - big power/big motor/nitrous/turbo etc. The mod and springs are fine for most other applications.

Good start! Could also be a worn out clutch mod. Does it do it if you pull off in second gear?

Check your outer clutch basket. I have a zx-14 video that explains exactly how and it applies to all bikes.

I would recommend installation, exactly per the OEM service manual. A copy can typically be found online via google search.

Yes.
will that be the same thing on a 09 ZX6R if I have to change my clutch plate
