Pros and Cons of Moving to New York in Your 20s

If you're dreaming of moving to New York City or making plans to do so, I hope this video will give you insightful information on what it's like to live there as a 20-something :) I moved to New York in the end of 2021 and it's been such a fantastic, fun, expanding and at times challenging experience! I made a list of my personal pros and cons and recorded this video for people who are in the same position I was in last year. ❤️

if you work remotely = just travel to a smaller city and work there as the rent costs are cheaper
or keep moving around to different big cities and use this as an opportunity to travel
also the way you describe new york, feels as if you prefer london a lot more

Con also is gentrification.The more people who move here, the higher rent becomes. This is pushing businesses and people who have lived here for decades out of the city. Please be mindful of that when moving here. I understand everyone want to move somewhere new and get a fresh start but their are plenty of other places in the states to do that. Places that are cheaper and safer too

Two times I've visited new york. It's really not for me, I've just enjoyed a few parts of it, but I couldn't have a full day without being really uncomfortable with someone or in an ugly street. It can't compare to any city in europe.
