*There are two types of modesty: Spiritual and physical*
*The Spiritual aspect is true 1000% and is made perfectly clear all throughout the Bible. It shows in the way we act and treat one another. It's what we carry in our hearts and minds and spirits. This is what God cares about and what we should be striving towards.*
*Physical modesty is a lie. It's nothing but a man made ideology designed to manipulate and control one another due to our lust for power. It's based on ignorance and our lack of understanding of what our bodies truly represent. This has no basis in the Bible or science.*

*The Bible says our bodies are made in God's image and are the Temple of the Holy Spirit so, if that's the case, how could our bodies be a symbol of sin? Does the image of God spread lust? Does the Temple of the Holy Spirit cause someone to stumble? If so, does that mean God is evil? This is the issue with religion! The fact that it makes God look like the bad guy and that's because religion isn't a Godly design, it's a man made concept designed to masquerade as God's Word but it's really man's agenda.*

I really felt like God was using Madi to reach Peter on the bachelor, and as much as she was scrutinized publicly and despite the fact it didn’t work out I swear it will change his heart eventually. I wonder if she felt that too.

*Being nude with no shame was a state of connection between God and man since our bodies are made in God's image. Embracing one is embracing the other which is why we started hating our bodies when we sinned since sin is disobedience which brings disconnect with God. Clothing came from death which is the wage of sin so clothing is a symbol of shame and disconnect with God. It's not our honor, it's our faults displayed on our being. When Saul and the prophets were overtaken by the Holy Spirit, they stripped naked. When Isaiah started his ministry, he went naked (at God's command too). When Adam and Eve were perfect with God, they were naked. When David danced before the ark in God's name, he went half naked. Their nudity showed their ultimate union with the Father and everyone (Micah for David, Isaiah's critics for Isaiah and Adam and Eve themselves after the fall) who damned them for it, was cursed. The Bible makes it clear that the physical realm (clothing in this case) doesn't matter and we shouldn't make that our top priority. That actually completely contradicts the idea of physical modesty that religious zealots push since they're saying clothing is the end all be all of determining someone's faith.*

*Religion has twisted people's minds up so let me explain it.*
*Nudity-The human body without clothes on. This has literally nothing to do with sex or sexuality, it's just the human body in its natural form.*
*Sexuality-The attraction men and women feel for each other. This consists of the urges, desires and fantasies that we have on a daily basis. This is the most powerful urge God implanted in us in order to push us to being sexual beings with an urge for connection to each other. THIS IS WHAT GOD INTENDED FOR EVERYONE TO EMBRACE, ENJOY AND EXPLORE.*
*Sex-The physical act of intimacy between two people (ideally a husband and wife) usually involving intercourse. THIS IS WHAT GOD INTENDED FOR MAN AND WIFE ONLY.*
*These are the REAL meanings of these things but religion and human stupidity blur the lines between these things and merge them all together even though that makes no sense.*

*The idea of "modesty" is an absolute joke. God created us to be fully naked with NO SHAME and it was only when we started seeing the world through our eyes rather than through God's eyes that we started viewing our bodies as disgraceful. 99% of clothing has nothing to do with trying to be sexy, it's just the person wearing what makes them comfortable. Clothing doesn't influence evil actions, immoral character does.*

I have truly suffered from finding my purpose, but I think I can see the clearer picture that I just have to surrender all my plans and future to the One who holds it all. *Nowhere in the Bible does it say that our bodies cause others to sin, that's a misinterpretation. The Bible is clear that our bodies are made in God's image and, because of that, we're the crown jewel of His creation. That's why there was no shame in nudity but we've lost sight of that but that doesn't mean that truth changes. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday and today and tomorrow so if He thought our bodies were shameless yesterday, He still believes this today. Yes we have to cover certain areas of our bodies when we're in public because we'll get arrested for indecent exposure if we don't but clothing isn't God's creation nor was it ever intended by Him so it's not a priority of His. 1 Samuel 16:7 says WE LOOK AT PHYSICAL APPEARANCE WHILE GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART ❤ and that couldn't be any more true. David, Esther, Isaiah and Adam and Eve (before the fall) were all elevated when they embraced their natural beauty (bodies) so our bodies are not shameful "stumbling blocks", they're glorious elevation tools.*

The attempt to speak on body image issues is appreciated. But it’s much deeper than having a pimple for most people. I also wonder, taking a step back I see hundreds of videos like this. I see so many influencers talk about all the terrible problems people have with social media. But of all the advice, not one will be the example to delete their social media. Not one. And they won’t encourage their followers to get off of it either. “Yea like take a break from social media for a day or something” is not enough for most people who’s body images and comparison and low self esteem stem from social media addiction. Our world is addicted. And we continue to consume endless mindless entertainment while life passes us by. Id love to hear these ladies speak on this. To go deeper than “yea I compare myself to other influencers and I get pimples sometimes.” I challenge Madison and Jeanine to throw out your makeup and log off social media. For good. How can you tell you don’t put your confidence in your makeup and social media when you don’t go a day without it?

I think this could be an interesting challenge. I commented that all should read Breaking Free from Body Shame by Jess Connolly because body image is a spiritual issue, not just blemishes and gained weight (and gained weight isn’t bad because our bodies are already good). I would rather follow someone that dives deep into understanding the body image issue of others and joining with them through scripture than people that show the highlights.

*Read your Bible and you'll see it says that God created us nude with no shame. This was because in God's ideal world, we embrace our bodies as a physical reflection of God's spirit. God is an artist and we're His art 🎨 therefore, when you embrace yourself, you embrace Him. The reason Adam and Eve immediately hated themselves after they sinned and covered themselves is because they, in sinning, turned away from God and therefore turned away from themselves since their bodies reflected God. God didn't give them clothes because He chose to and He was "covering us in His glory"; that entire context was telling us about how we fell out of His glory. Clothing only came into play when shame, brokenness, evil, and sin did meaning that it's a symbol of these things and the broken bond between God and man. Being ashamed of your image is being ashamed of God's and He didn't create us to be ashamed of His masterpiece and bury it down to where nobody can see it, He created us to display our art in a museum and be happy when someone gazes upon our beauty. That's why people like David, Esther and Isaiah all got elevated when they did this but Vashti, Micah and Isaiah's critics, who bashed them for it, got kicked to the curve. That's also why people today, who flaunt their bodies, make it big while people who bash them fade into nothing.*

The type of clothes you wear in your videos would be considered immodest where I live (namely tight-fitting clothes, low-cut shirts, crop tops and short dresses and skirts) but it is so interesting to see how every culture is different. It is so beautiful and inspiring the fact that you desire to honor the body God has given you, follow the convictions God puts on your heart and dress modestly according to the context you are in.

God gave them "better" clothing as a sign of our disconnect with Him since our bodies are made in His image and sinning was us falling away from Him and therefore falling away from our nature and purpose to be one with Him as art and artist. This wasn't a time of joy for God, it was a time of brokenness.*
*There is no such thing as "modest or immodest" clothing. It's a false premise created out of ignorance and lack of understanding of what our bodies represent. Physical modesty varies all over the world throughout all nations, religions and cultures and has done so all throughout history. It's not something you can put under a microscope and study in a science lab or back with research or data or defend with faith (The Bible). It's just something based on feelings and emotions and that makes it empty.*

On the topic of confidence, especially in the subject of body positivity, I recommend reading Breaking Free from Body Shame by Jess Connolly. We put so much on our bodies when it comes to confidence. Gaining weight doesn’t make your body a problem. Your body is already good. You don’t have to get your body to a good place, it is already good. You don’t have to exercise or eat a certain thing to make your body look a certain way for confidence. You move your body because it is already good. Definitely go read that book! It is scriptural based and she opens to book with the idea that how we see our bodies is a spiritual issue because these are the bodies we have to worship God here on earth.

It’s true that there will always be differences, but I think the idea that other bodies are “better” is a slippery idea because all bodies are good. Being more fit isn’t “better” and us labeling it as such can be harmful. I loved the book Breaking Free from Body Shame by Jess Connolly that teaches our bodies are good and we can exercise because they are good not because we are trying to make them good

Clothing doesn't influence evil actions, immoral character does.*

This is random but I've got something to share! My pet peeve is when people wear sunglasses inside or at night for no good reason at all!

I felt like it could have been said differently. I’ve seen so many say that they attract the wrong guys and we aren’t looking deeper (past trauma, misunderstandings of why we want to be with someone in the first place). Sometimes what we see as “showing too much” is someone that grew up with massive trauma related to what they wore being harmed, or what they were made fun of wearing. It isn’t just “what are you attracting?” It could be a deeper issue or thought process.

      @@hannahrule4665 I totally agree.
So many women get told things to make them feel ashamed of their bodies. When we praise someone for being so modest without knowing how they got there, we might be praising the wrong thing!
I think that is true for far too many women: you get told “you’re going out in that?” and where before you thought you looked cute & wore something with innocence, you got made to feel differently.
