@@jeebs9 Wei Jiang KOs? They are awesome, no issues like butt flaps (MPP27, MPP30, etc) and have better paint lines (like MPP10).

My longest project (and most viewed) was Masterpiece Optimus (MP10) 1453 photos, 16 hours of filming over 3 days, 5 hours of editing, 20 minutes of uploading and away we go = P

I got the Chinese KO version of this with sloppy, messy hands, so I need to get a proper upgrade set to fix him. Soundwave is one of my favorite Decepticons. Also, even though your older videos don’t have the visual quality of the newer ones, but they do have an awesome nostalgic feel. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.

The stopmotion is the most ingenious and entertaining ideas I have ever seen in a review. It actually makes me stay to watch cuz I want to see what will happen next! Props to you sir. Soundwave is my favorite transformer. (I created a shrine). I was so happy with this masterpiece figure that when I was at otakon... So yesterday I bought his soundblaster redeco and I can't wait to set him next to soundwave. I highly recommend that figure. You get a very nice masterpiece ratbat to finish off the main cassette characters. Perfect set of figures and thank you for the great review!!!!

When I was a kid in the early 80s, my cousin was given a Soundwave Transformer that played real cassette tapes. I don't believe it actually transformed from robot mode. I found one on eBay not too long ago but its not really something I wanted to buy.
Nice review. I always like when you include Stopmotion in a review. I put mine at the beginning, but you have given me some ideas of how to incorporate it into the entire review. I'm sure this took quite a while to edit eh? :D

What's your opinion on the new Toys R Us box for the Hasbro MP Soundwave. I do like that it looks like it's for collecting unlike previous masterpieces from Hasbro. And YEAH, Chest proportionate to body, WOOHOO!
Also the TRU version is made to be more like the original G1 toy
I'm gonna get the MP 02 Soundwave soon, it shipped yesterday. For the review It's a great one, although for the transformation perhaps I lost tracks of where which parts were. I love the engeneering they put in these figures, impressive. Perhaps they could make a Masterpiece Megatron but with an all new look. except from TF 2007 megs, there are no megs toys which are about 25cm and beautiful ahem animated
The Lazy Eyebrow Reviewer the strange silver part at 5:13 can be used in radio mode to attach Rumbe and Frenzy's hammers with it, like some giant wire to steal energy in the goal of creating energon... I get this MP too, and I love it, because Soundwave was always and is still my favorite.
I know this functionnality because I got Takara Laserbeak (aka Condor) with Soundwave, but also the Hasbro's Frenzy, Rumble, Buzzsaw and Ravage. I also just bought Takara's Ratbat.
The "Laser-beak" tape is (super-nice!!) Equally as awesome as the "Soundwave" action figure...!!!!

In the review, Soundwave's legs weren't fully transformed. All you had to do was move the top parts of legs forward, then the bottom parts (where the knee joints are) forward & his legs can pose exactly how you want them to.

I have war for Cybertron core class Soundwave their is no way to pose him for the tape eject like in the G1 and he only comes with a Lazerbeak that doesn't transform.

True its a great version of Soundwave, but the head is far from spot on. His Eyes for instance should be just a long stretched Eye band with a slight up bend in the middle to indicate a nose or something similar, and that face just screams anger, something Soundwave should not display as he has a neutral face expression. But in some angles it just works, but i dont really know why

Yeah I did the Kreo Devastator set and that took me about a week to film since i did all the building in Stop Motion and about 2 days for editing and adding in SFX. That sucker is an hour long since there is so much to that set.....check it out on my channel...if you dare....mwahahahaha! : P

I'm just thinking from a design aspect. It's somewhat easy to take the original toy and make it transform into a more detailed and articulated figure. Laserbeak use to have to come with accessories. the fact that they made the cassette the exact same size as the originals AND be able to transform to look A: identical to the 80's cartoon and B: not have to store the jetpack parts anywhere was stinking GENIUS
I totally would've been fine if we had to attach the jetpack parts, but we don't have to!
anyway that's why i loved MP Laserbeak and Buzzsaw better. but in all fairness Soundwave is a phenomenal Masterpiece figure from the waist up

I thought that cause he looks so simple, that he would also transform into that Cybertronian mode, seen in episode 1. Or even be a working radio. But as he looks he doesn't seem worth buying.
