The ads are honestly some of the most horrendous things I've ever seen. The trailers for their upcoming contents are absolutely incredible looking in comparison. They should've just used the PVs made for their game instead to pull in new players from the start.

A lot of the ads felt outsourced, which is weird considering Yostar Pictures could have used the PVs or EPs and just added small animations in between them. It probably makes sense from a staffing perspective so that more people could focus on the actual game, but I still think they could have done their down advertising.

Arknights is the first gacha game that I've played for over a year and still plays it to this day. What got me into Arknights is a The Speed of light ad featuring penguin logistics, got addicted to the song and the visuals of the animation got me to download it
Ohh my God, same man. I joined at the start but the slow story drove me away. That ad and the song were so catchy that it made me search up the add and brought me back to this game, and I’m glad for that

Mobile ads love banking on misleading and controversy because that two factor is so easy to attract people, I mean look at ToF and Legend of neverland as good example of game advertise base on controversy.
The feater one feels ok to me, it actually shows off that you can push enemies to death in this game which is quite unique and is ACTUAL FUN gameplay but also shows that you can fuck it up too.... The voice-over kinda kills me inside tho, not enough... emotion? Doesn't excuse all the other bad ones of course. Idk maybe it works for the youtube algorithm I guess.

I feel like most gacha games ads that uses skits are weird. They're not exactly bad or good, and the skit is pretty funny. But they are definitely on the weird side. I think the "good" ads are probably the one where they use the trailers as the ads, like the code of brawl event ad(that ad got me to play arknights after all lol). Other gacha games that I know uses the trailers as ads are probably only Honkai and Genshin(although they have some weird skits too lol)
Ironically it's because I didn't saw any of these that I got into Arknights, it's because my gf was one day like "check out this game I found 2 days ago, it's so good" If I saw any of these, I probably wouldn't have trusted her when she said "it's so good" It's my favorite game now though, so yeah :p
