You only tested it on mechs that are not moving,I’d say the projectile speed is killer for this weapon even though it has cool mechanics. I think it would end up like helixes in the meta

I don't know how good it'll be on CPC, but it looks like a good 5v5 weapon. It's so easy to hit shots with the weapon since you can hit them even if you miss them. It's a lot of easy damage. It felt strong for a 6 energy weapon

That's a good idea! I'm assuming the weapon can go through infinite mechs. So it can go through a maximum of 5 mechs in a custom match. The weapon will probably be good with Brickhouse and Orion, but I don't think it'll be anything special

Hmm, that's true. Consistently getting three ticks on moving targets sounds pretty unrealistic. But since it's so easy to hit shots with the weapon, I think it can be a strong weapon. You don't need to even hit them, you just need to fire close to them to hit them. And you can Consistently get back damage on enemies just like with the disc launchers. With the discs, you can get back damage on enemies even when they're moving. You can do that with the disruptors as well. The only factor is the slow projectile speed. We'll have to see how much of a factor that plays into how strong it becomes. If it's too easy to dodge, then it won't be a very effective weapon. But if it's not easy to dodge, it will be an effective weapon and top 5 for sure. That's my take at least

Well the damage is obviously less if you walk into the shots. But if you're able to reactively dodge the whole shot, I think it's a much better idea to do that instead so you don't take damage. But face the projectile so it only deals front damage to you if there's no way for you to dodge the shot. The front damage isn't too bad, it's the side and back which is problematic

Scorpius is deceptive like that. I’m not sure if it’s crit damage or side or rear damage, but I often hit jav ability and see 51.4k 51.4k that’s over 100k damage and I’ve got the legendary damage implant but it’s not even maxed yet
Yeah, the damage indicators are weird. You see 47k with the disruptor 6. That's not even possible with read damage, I think it takes the damage from several ticks, and clumps it together. So it's not the damage of one tick, it's the damage of several ticks

You forgot the SS class weapons tier which goes beyond S class weapons (currently houses only Miniguns after they got buffed) I'm missing the shield piercing feature displayed :( I'm curious on beacon protection play like on site 313 What is the effect on stealthed mechs? Does it misses or is it like any other damage? 25 speed implies any mech above it can easily outrun it (given reaction speed distance is well enough)? Is it safe to assume Plarium it's intention is to use it as a "no hiding" camping weapon. DPS wise, compared to discs (which have a higher radius and this better no hiding capabilities) is it better, on par, or worse? What implants are there for it? How does it fares against Bastion (Discs wreck it, is the shield pierce enough or does it makes yourself stunned itself?) Are you really certain it will be Meta? If so for which gamemodes (or all)?
Ohh, that's good that they fixed it, they can have a normal hotbox now. Are the miniguns really that strong? They have good damage, but they're still a Sustain fire weapon. And Sustain fire weapons are inferior to snipers and disc launchers. The weapon behaves pretty much the same on stealth mechs as they do with disc launchers. On stealth mechs, you have a higher chance of missing them, so this makes you be able to deal back damage on them easier. It does seem like this is a no comping weapon and is a close range weapon. You need to make effort to get close to your enemy for them to be effective. It does seem like a pretty good beacon defender weapon. But if you miss, you're screwed since you have to wait to reload. But with the 12, you'll probably be able to one-shot most scout mechs with back damage
The shield pierce isn't actually labeled in game. They deal a few thousand damage, but the game decides not to display the damage numbers for whatever reason. If you look closely, you can see the hp of the shielded mech slight go down when I shoot it's shield. It's only 10% damage, it's very less. It doesn't make them very great against Bastions. The shield pierce barely even does anything. You have to take down their shield, and kill them just like you do with every other weapon

I feel like most of this is given the enemy is just standing there, I doubt it'll be a top-5 weapon, even with a potential 12 or 16. Just my guess tho

Haha yes, and more noob friendly version of the disc launchers. You can do a few things to deal more damage. But it is a pretty low skill weapon haha

Counter to disruptor: walk into the projectiles. The disruptor rewards missing your shots
