We can attest to this! We feel so humbled that the community has embraced Ted and I when we decided to start this channel. So many people have loved K&S for so long and we are so proud to share that with this fantastic community. And for Derek, he's a great guy isn't he?

Always inspiring to hear Derek talk and the lack of cynicism with which he does so, when comes to putting yourself out there and I think he said “you have to be a friend to have a friend.” I also love that these videos don’t act like K&S is the only company in the world, you openly talked about several other companies and stood in front of another companies banner and I just love that aspect of it, like it’s just real.
Love this! Derek truly is one of a kind and speaks from the heart in everything. He's such a great person to look up to and has such a unique story that we thought so many people would relate to. And while we love to share what people are doing with our products, we know there are so many others who deserve to be seen. We 100 percent love shouting out other businesses and teaming up when possible. We could not tell a piece of Derek's story without letting him love on his sponsors. Very nice interview. Funny enough Derek was someone I hadn’t heard of until his appearance on Making Fun. I know TV and putting yourself on camera can seem so hokey at times being involved with it a little myself. But it DOES reach people and impact their lives in positive ways as we can see with Derek and others like him. Thanks guys!
Making fun is a great show for kids and adults. If it is inspiring a very young generation of makers, then it's doing even more than it was designed to do already. Like you said, it can be a little hokey,but if it's inspiring others and entertaining them...it's all gravy! Derek's story is so relatable and we hope people who have been on the fence to go out and try these things...will go our and act now to get involved in the community. Thank you for the kind message!
Knowing Derek a little bit and having hung out with him at Maker Camp, and at Jimmy's, I didn't know about how he got into "this". These videos open up a little "behind the scenes" in these popular Makers lives. We get to know even a little more. Great video series!

This is such a flattering compliment! Unfortunately we are not in a place to make that happen right now based on travel, editing, and everything else going on.
