After lot of reviews and videos about this ht, I purchased this and I listened this for 2 days and my experience was like next level...that bass is so loud , accurate, heavy, punchy, soft and damn vibrating + the originality in musical bass samples like kick, 808bass, sub bass ..I mean overall bass is the most wonderful thing about this ht, and next thing people are saying that sound quality is inferior to Sony d40 , but I guranteee you that this Philips sound quality is so next level and perfect that you can never say this home theater can be this much wonderful.... blindly purchase this .. don't hesitate even for single minute....just go for Philips...

hello.. maine kal philips spa8000b model kharida.. volume 22+ le jane ke baad subwoofer unit ke piche(jaha se screw kholte hai) se kuch cracking (andar kuch vibrate hoke cabinet ko takrane wali awaj) se awaj aa rahi hai.. so ye common hai kya? ke mere unit me koi manufacturing defect hai? ya sabhi me ye cracking wala sound ata hai? please let me know.. thanks

Hope you are well. I'm using this model with my pc and I've a question regarding with PL mode.
When PL is on in DVD mode, I got stereo sound with high base(6 channel but low sound in side/rear satellite=normal), but in PL off mode, I got clear surround sound and low base, is this normal?
