    Some Explanations:
    - Im pretty late to uploading a snake eye video, so everyone already knows how to build the deck, but I’ll mention some of the more subtle details.
    - The synchro build is generally stronger than the link build, because the endboard is better. This is important for when you face decks that don’t play a lot of handtraps, and can be expected to sometimes have 6 cards to break your board with. If your endboard only has link monsters, its usually not strong enough. In the mirrormatch, the synchros don’t come out very often since there's so many handtraps, but since the cost is just 1 jet synchron in the main deck, its overally best to play the synchro version. Jet synchron also helps with link climbing too.
-Knightmare unicorn is still strong to play even though SP is now the better monster to summon with IP. Unicorn is much stronger at breaking a board and building to an otk, since SP prevents direct attacks.
    - Knightmare Phoenix is a good monster to play to allow for easier otks with zealantis and raging phoenix when the opponent doesn’t have a monster to target with princess. Its also a potentially useful monster to summon with IP if you are forced to use princess early.
    - I like maxxing out on the generic handtraps, since they are the best way to deal with the mirrormatch, and the 5 most generic ones are always strong going 1st or 2nd, and in most matchups. Other handtraps like gamma and ghost ogre have matchups and situations where they are pretty weak, which I think is a problem for snake eye since the handtraps you draw are a core part of the gameplan, even going 1st.
    - Only 1 sp is needed. 2 is just wasting a slot in the extra in my opinion.
    - Talents is the next most generic non-engine card, instead of having to play a situational handtrap. It helps in mirrors a lot, as it can help escape those annoying games where you are just at the mercy of the handtraps your opponent draws.
    - Subversion is essential. Its always searched eventually as part of the core combo (with poplar on the opponents turn). Its also important to have an immediately impactful target for diabelstar besides OSS, that way you minimize the chance of having a wasted effect.
    - Kurikara is not needed, its just a potential brick in the deck. Its important for your non-engine going 1st to be all handtraps, since you often rely on them.
You could reasonably play 3 poplar in this deck. Cutting 1 nibiru or talents for it wouldn’t make the deck any worse.

Hey April, I really appreciate that you post your losses too. It's refreshing to see someone who's not afraid to show how they may fall short. It's a great learning opportunity for all of us. Keep up the awesome content! Peak player btw.

@@AbdulrahmanMohammed-ty8dw i make small mistakes in this video, but nothing too huge. I usually try to upload games that i think show a realistic impression of the deck if its played properly. If me or my opponent mess up something big then i wont use it, but as long as it looks like a game you might see yourself on ladder then im open to putting it in a video.

I don’t have multiple copies of Nibiru and Talents, but I have had some decent success myself running Magnamhut, Druiswarm, and Ghost Belle in place of 1 Veiler.
Though, once I get more copies of the aforementioned Nibiru and Talents, I can replace Ghost Belle and some of the Bystials for the other copies so I don’t hard draw and make the Crossout Targets not work. Maybe even Kurikara, but I’ve won a good number of games with Kurikara in the past going 2nd. That one is on the fence still.
If you would like to suggest any personal suggestions for what I could run in place of the 1 of copies of my tech cards, feel free to share and I can try them out if I have them in my collection.
Interesting seeing Unicorn in the deck over Underworld Goddess, but I completely understand why swapping between Unicorn and Little Knight can be helpful to close out games while adapting and providing useful disruptions.
Good games showcasing your losses too. Also, that last duel with bricking was cringe, but glad you won.
I’ve had one of those types of standstill games in the past. I was playing somebody with Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade and my opponent and I were bricking and setting backrow waiting to see who struck 1st. It was tedious, but I did eventually came out on top once I negated Mist Valley Falcon while I was doing my plays.
That was the vibe I was getting from that last game.

I know this is a snake-eye video but I have a branded question as I am starting to play the deck more and more.
When you get Maxx C'd turn 1, what is the best line?

    • @AprilShowerz
      @AprilShowerz  4 месяца назад

you just make sanctifire and try to win with it. If you have deployment for cartesia then thats fine to do as well as the sanctifire. That set up is puppet lock on the opponents turn with just 2 draws. If you dont have cartesia then its fine to try and play sanctifire control, summoning albaz and fusing away their monster into mirrojade.
