The sound of the motor when going up is the good part. Sounds similar to the one at the KC Convention Center. It does sound a little like a lawn mower in use.

The Dover DMC-I controller. TK Elevator (thyssenkrupp Elevator) officially claimed it obsolete in around 2019 & a lot of Dover elevators with that controller are being modded because of it.

It was the same as the 1 across that's low on oil & Andrew uploaded yesterday (early-90s Dover).
Ah, gotcha! So it used to be a regular Dover and then got modded out. Sounds like they wanted to spice things up a bit, huh?
