There's also one huge thing u missed in this video, and thats kangkangs use of the headhunter. I dont know what it is, but it almost looks like he has it bound on the opposite side of the keyboard with how rarely i see him switch to it after running out of bullets or shooting the op. Literally anyone that plays chamber knows how important it is to quickly switch to the headhunter in a sticky situation, and it almost seems like kangkang just picked up this agent yesterday.
There’s discussion to be had around his headhunter use, but I think that’s less black and white. The large majority of headhunter swaps come from overcommitting to a fight, if you miss the op shot there’s very few times you should actually stick around and keep fighting.
Obv there were times where he could’ve used the headhunter but didn’t, but those times were largely results of the initial mistake of overcommitting without the TP. Fixing that is the focus
Really, I just don't know why I saw 8 bullets in his headhunter. You don't use 8 bullets in a single round, and that's a lot of money to be wasting on an ability which will only come into play at niche times, likely won't have much impact, and which you prefer not to use anyways. Why buy those bullets when you could instead be putting traps down or buying an op or buying your teammates? Even just buying a shorty or judge if at max creds would be so much more beneficial.
@@stelthstriker7867headhunter being so pricey and me not being the best aimer is why i actually never buy bullets and instead just save for as many ops or rifles lol. PS i only rarely pick chamber and never in comp c:
someone translated this video and posted it on bilibili yesterday, and kk replied it one hour ago said he learnt that ❤❤❤ thanks again
that's super cool of the translator, i heard in league some ppl translate very badly to harm the content creator
KK's raw talent in valorant is AMAZING BUT i noticed that he often relies on it, that's why he makes these silly mistakes a lot but once he gets more disciplined, i fear he might be unstoppable... he's very dedicated as a player im sure he beats himself up more than anyone for his performance but he has great potential
6:00 It's more likely that he tried to recall his TP and accidentally did the trip
@ 5:53 as a chamber one trick i sometimes make the mistake of recalling my trip instead of the TP at the heat of the moment, because both has the same sound queue and animation for recalling, its very confusing at times hopefully riot adds an QoL update to the chamber util recalls :(
the tp and trip have different sounds, it’s just that the icons look similar if your really locked in
Yeah when I looked back at it, given that they were at relatively similar angles, I wouldn't be surprised if he just messed up and picked the trip back up by accident. And the Bind rotator clip, we can't really tell if him playing Relay Runner simulator was on him or if it was a call from his team/Haodong for him to rotate to A. So I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for those ones.
Being overly aggressive is a sharp double edged sword, I think it's something that he needs to get better at picking when to be aggressive and when not to, and I think with teams wising up to how he plays, he's getting punished for it more frequently than he used to, but also just walking out of rendezvous range into a one and done angle is going to get him killed a lot so I think that component in particular he really needs to work on.
He's a hell of a player to watch though and I don't expect him at any point in time to fully reel back in his aggression because it's what makes him who he is and allows him to have gigantic impact.
honestly i think he recalled it because omen is holding the angle, making the trip useless might as well recall it imo, i think that’s the right play there
@@glopiumm i guess that's possible. the other part that's a little weird to me is that kangkang has his rendezvous set up on a site so he can contest main and get out and instead of haodong floating to mid, it's kangkang that does it and then recalls his rendezvous after recalling his trip, which makes me think that he was trying to recall his rendezvous and not his trip but messed it up. either way, the whole situation is pretty messy.
and dont get me started on when they line up, hitting the right thing is difficult sometimes xD
On round 18 of map 3 of Paper Rex vs EDG at Champions 2022, kangkang popped his Chamber ult in Haven garage while also having a normal op, and no money to buy next round.
Miss clicks happen no?
This is a general problem for like every single player for every apac team (maybe with a few exceptions like drx and zeta)
PRX is also pretty good at it. Either of f0rsaken and Davai can easily anchor with Chamber
@@maibigbutt3746 no I’m talking more so the problem of simply being too aggressive and overheating, not necessarily just using chamber’s util
@@maibigbutt3746 I think he meant being over aggressive. As someone from APAC, I have to agree, pro players from this region really lack the discipline and assiduousness other than DRX.
@Sugarist0 prx finished second in 2 tournaments and EDG were in the top 5, so I guess this aggressive style kinda works
@@vladvlad2987 9 Major tournaments and the only region with no wins. As a whole, I think this 'run it down' style has been a detriment for the region. Overall the teams in APAC are weaker than teams in Americas/Europe imo.
i believe when he picked up his trip he wanted to pick up his tp and just f up
As a chamber main this is a normal occurrence 😅from a distance the tp and trip have look the same and have the same recall animation and sound so if you called back your to by mistake unless you noticed one time it can be detrimental
KangKang reminds me of early TenZ - Indisputable potential, but without further development, he can only carry himself so far. I hope his coaches/team can help him develop and polish up the rough edges, to create an unstoppable team altogether. Definitely one of the players I look forward to seeing next year the most.
Great humor on that trip stuff 😂
I could understand the placement of teleport later in the round as the cooldown takes 30s , so maybe he is anticipating a rush on the other side and thus doesn't want to wait on the cooldown and only placed the teleport when he is certain where the opp would hit. His trips placement is the one that I can wrap my head around.
so imagine if he actually starts to master these agents... he'll just keep getting better and better
imagine Zmjjkk, forsaken, jinggg, Monyet (Onic era) & nivera gathered in one team. Either be good team or a clown team😂😂
and i forgot something😂
@@co-yl8ri at this point just say the entire prx roster
@@maniacc3964 nah nah, mindfreak and d4v41 and even f0rsaken to a good extent are relatively brain-forward players. PRX’s entry mains are the crazy ones 😂
@@katl8825f0rsaken played much more reckless when he was on duelist and wasn’t calling
@@DEVILONBOTHSHOULDERS this doesn’t contradict what I said! you’re exactly right he’s a flexible player
@5:50 In my opinion that could be scenario that trap are too deep then TE omen saw and try to destroyed it and Haodong call to recall it. Is this possible?. The evidence are TE omen are ping it like he saw or hear some thing and after that Haodong put one-way smoke again to prevent pushing.
KK is the textbook definition of a double edged sword, he can single handedly win edg rounds but also threw away an equal amount of rounds
It’s similar with something, except he usually loses them rounds
@@Dranzer2024awww lil bro still has prx living in his head rent free thats kinda sad go celebrate with eg already
@@juicername9862 awwww lil bro has me rent free stuck in his head 😂 go ride ur bf not me
@@juicername9862?
Not gonna lie i feel like kangkang wanted to recall the tp instead of he trip lmao
Finally, someone is starting to notice how good his badness is
Watching this it feels like he thinks he still has 2 trips cause I remember some old Chambers use to put one down but then keep one to use "aggressively" after they take space. I know some still do it (on Attack not Defense) so it's like...yea...a lot of improvement is needed.
Watching this somehow made me more curious how XCC will works on T1...
Tbh i think pick the trip up by accident at 7:06
Trip? TP? WHAT? I just need my raw aim. THAT is what Chamber is for. - Kangkang probably
Lil bro is cooking his chamber to go against yay, let lil bro cook
In round 4 (2:50) they expected a b hit, so he saved tp until b was cleared, seems like the same on round 14 of bind too
This doesn't make much sense as let's say they did do a B execute, using Chamber TP for retake isn't all that useful. It's like having a Jett step out of a choke point to just dash backwards, gaining no space.
As a sentinel, you should always be using your signature ability on every round, no exceptions.
Round 15 bind where he has the op he doesn't place his TP down... I think bro needs to spend an act on chamber only if he actually wants to play him
commend just fell down on his knees at Walmart
S1mple started out like that too, raw talent with little discipline. We'll see if KK can grow into a S1mple character or fall like Tenz's CSGO days.
Don’t compare the 2 games like that though
@@Dranzer2024 I am not drawing comparison between games, I am stating that players like KK could progress very differently depending on his next steps.
He seems to be playing way too reactive instead of playing proactive.
kk said he learnt from ur video😂
wait did he ? i am glad if he actually did...i was wondering if YT videos are available in CN
I feel like he’s a little too reliant on his aim a lot of times. Taking overly aggressive fights and options that usually leaves him or his team in an unfavorable position
So mechanically gifted, yet so clueless at the same time. Its so bizarre.
I don’t think he is that clueless, chamber just not the agent for him
The amount of hate KK’s getting in the cmt section’s crazy. U have no idea how good and dedicated he is.
this isnt really a hate video? he is objectively playing like he is clueless on chamber and I attribute that to him being way too good at aiming for the small pond that is the CN server, resulting in him having no agency to improve. Yes he is one of the best aimers in the world, but he also plays terribly at times with chamber. This is a fact. It is fine to criticize someone for playing like shit while at the same time acknowledge their aim.
@@luosenwei3695 no no im not talking about TMV’s video, im talking about the unnecessary ary hate KK got from the cmt section. A few individuals who can’t look pass the fact KK popping off was simply him being a showman, absorbing the stage energy, and think that he’s being toxic.
@@luosenwei3695 brodie cannot read
hes simply better no need for logic 😎
Sped up Chinese sounds like someone speaking fake Chinese
Normal day in office for a KILL CRAVING DUELIST main lol😅😂.
They just think they playing jett or reyna where they Just need to go for heads and dismiss or dash to escape.
But for Chamber u need to be disciplined and have a minimum iq of 30 😂
I don't actually see anything wrong with not putting down your tp early. It's like you're waiting for info in order to know where placing it might benefit you to come out on top of anything that plays out that moment. In my opinion
a trip serves as a anti-flank and anti-lurk device. if you are using it offensively as you seem to be suggesting, you aren't getting the optimal usage
@@doge7080op’s talking about tp not trip
@@doge7080 I meant his tp
The thing is. You use the tp to get in aggressiv positions, hold of angels and get out without being traided. But if you wait till you have info the enemy has already taken the site
@@marvinkibler1837 maybe like jiggle picking until you see presence then you place it down. If you don't see anyone, you move up, take more space then place it down... something like that
This is shit i get on my gold teammates about lmao
Bro playing like a dualist with a nerfed sentinel agent... Just because it has free op for every half...
Good player but bad chamber, well said.
Nah, how can anyone but proo be soooo dumb, he is basically a brain-dead player with just aim
Sped up Chinese is fire😂
are these videos reaching kangkang or their coach ? thats my concern regarding these chinese teams that they have no input from the outside world
im convinced he has adhd
i enjoy ur contents bro but as a chamber main there's nothing wrong with saving ur tp for later. a chamber player dont need to put their tp right from the start. we can put later after having some info/intel and read enemy movement.
why save tp? bcs there's 30s cooldown after u recall the tp and that's a lot of time. putting down tp is a hell of commitment and a great chamber player knows when to commit and when not to.
3xcept the moments he singled out especially sunset are situations where he could have either held the space they gained with a get out free or saved his life, in which case as a chamber player you ask yourself id the timing more important than your life? and as a chamber main its common knowledge to use tp at the start to swing for info, space or unexpected pick off an enemy prepping util. this actually answers your argument because the sooner you use any E ability the sooner it recharges. and if he did have to use it at the start then he must have gained information for free which is value. also his lack of trip usage hindered his tp placement. simple chamber knowledge...sunset has 3 lanes, chamber isolates them, so if trip is main or mid. he can be on another lane or vice versa. saving tp is extremely occasional, in high elo you wanna get into an off angle either on a box or out in the open before they can even get to clear, thats a good chamber.
But waiting a minute means you could have placed the tp, recalled, and then placed again...
@@Forsxk3n EDG plays alot of games, there will be footages of their mistakes. Esp as they are a young team that's been slowly improving.
I appreciate the points you are making and am sad that I get turned off by the frequent sarcasm and rhethorical questions coming off as patrinizing to me. I'm also sad that that is why I won't watch the video to the end, even though I like the information you provide. I hope that I am alone (or atleast in the minority) with this for your sake.
It doesn’t make sense because you’re not him
Not first
“All aim, no brain”
Biggest OP crutch is getting exposed! Finally!
Seriously though, take away his crazy OP plays and he's just an average Chinese duelist player. Not even the best player in his team.
Not even the best duelist on his team or top 5 in his country
thats like saying take away screams aim and he is nothing or anyplayer his talent and work put in for oping is reall and he has shown what he is capable of
"average" yeah, sure lol
@@leninacosta5294you are right, way below avarage
Take away your ability to understand and you are an equivalent to an average orange cat now
he's just like Gojo. He was overhyped because of his OP shots and Tariks stream, but now look. A fraud.
I wouldn't call him a fraud, In a tournament of like 100's of players he was ranked like #6 based on his ACS that too with a huge round differential. If you have a player good with OP, why would you not give him the op and let him hold a site ?
This 'give chamber the op and let him hold the site alone' was pretty much the meta the entire last year, I never saw people give Yay, Aardis and other hundereds of chamber player giving shit for op-ing lmao
