I had to do an mx650 recently and about lost my mind. Heat was the key for me.

I put the tire in the sun and use soapy water. The sx500 tires are even worse

@@BRichSolution I can honestly say I can’t imagine it being worse. I locked mine up in our very small mudroom for like an hour with a space heater, pointed straight at it. I had tried for almost an hour to get the tire off without using heat and just couldn’t get it. I even tried cutting through it, but I didn’t have enough tools for that.

had to do this twice today on my bike just put the tire on half way like one side is on the rim then shimmy the tube in and get valve situated then spoon it back on didint bend my rim any more than it is

i wouldnt put the tube on while u put the tire also buy tires that have thick side wall
